I'm afraid of both heights and spiders. If I were on top of a tall skyscraper covered in hunstmans I think I'd be crapping my pants. Mind you they stem from experiences I had when I was younger.

I'm not afraid of heights, but I am afraid of the sudden deceleration trauma that occurs at the end of a fall, so I don't fall from heights. Which is good, since I'm an industrial roofer, and usually work at least 10' above the ground.

I'm also scared of fat people wearing tights clothes. SPANDEX IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT!

Bees and plague doctors. There's just something terrifying about little buzzing things that sting you, and just look up plague doctors.

Short people with umbrellas. Seriously, they don't pay a damn bit of attention, and one of these days, I'm going to lose an eye.

Oh, and needles, medical equipment (salves, creams, plasters and tools etc), hospitals, doctors (all previous due to waking up in the middle of a major operation when I was a sprog), heights, bordom (being insane keeps me sane, if you know what I mean) serial killers breaking lurking in the shadows (diagnosed as clinically paranoid), clowns, ketchup, Jack Russel terriers (I was attacked by one as a kid, never got over it), bad hair days, other people (again, paranoia, although I'm having therapy for this), the new wave of shitty teen fiction (and this isn't *just* Twilight)... maybe it's best if I stay indoors today?

Heights bother me, but I'm not afraid of them (if that makes any sense).

Ummm... Fear of rejection, does that count? If so, it's the reason I haven't had much success with women.

I'm completely terrified of needles. My entire family has gotten the swine flu shot, and I haven't. I would get the shot if I weren't so goddamn afraid of needles.
I punched my doctor last time I had a blood test...

I was 15.

Get an allergy. I have shots every week, every Tuesday.

As for me, spiders and people standing next to ledges. Also animals, I always have bad thoughts. Oh, oh, and vents.

Every single bug. The most hated of the bugs is the spider, of course. Those little 8 legged monsters terrify me to the bone. Whenever I see one I can't even get close to it without acting like a little 13 year old girl who just saw Twilight.

I would rather clean the shit of another human being than grabbing a spider and holding it on my hand.

I'm afraid of the dark.
Yeah.
You have a constant fear that someone's always near?
Honestly, when the light begins to fade, I sometimes feel I little strange. A little anxious, I guess, when it's dark. ;)

Butterflies, clowns, the Buffy episode 'Hush', Mirelurks (Fallout 3)... they make that yicky clicky sound.

I have a fear if American cities, often bordering on paranoia. In the four years I've been commuting to Chicago, I have rarely ever ventured off the two streets I need to use to go to college. And if I did, I was with a large group of friends and armed.

It's odd because I didn't have the problem when in Canada or Japan.
Why? I mean, there are always areas that are shady in any city, but downtown Chicago is safe. I even ran from the lake shore to the train station and got help on which train I needed to take (long story) from a homeless man. I tipped him ofcourse, but it was voluntary.

Now I don't think I'd ever NOT be afraid of Japan. *shudder*
Would be a fun place to go once I guess though.

I used to think I was afraid of heights, but I'm not.
I'm really afraid of not being in control.
That would explain why I can dive off 10 meter platform but I couldn't go on rollercoasters. Luckily, I've just bit the bullet and done them, although I've yet to go on most of the big ones at the Six Flags by my house.

I'm also afraid of love... or rather being hurt by them.

I'm afraid of mushrooms. The only stranger phobia I've ever heard of is a friend of a classmate who is supposedly afraid of sticks.
