The multitude of idiocy that is the majority of the human race. It's not really a "piss your pants" type fear more of a "good Lord how low can they get?" type fear. And then having that fear realized EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I fear;

Clowns (I accidently watched the movie 'It' when I was 6)

Living long enough to be in a nursing home (probably my biggest fear, strange isn't it)

Spiders (I live in Aus and most spiders here kill within 15mins of being bitten. Little normal spiders are ok though, like Huntsmans (google that if you like))

Being at heights without safety equiptment. By that I mean that if I were on something like a ladder, or at the edge of a cliff, I would be quite nervous and worried, but in stark contrast I have sky-dived, bunge jumped, helicopter snowboarded and other similar things, and was fine with it because I was secure. I guess you could say I have an "educated" fear of heights :p

That's it really. Only other thing that comes to mind is that I fear what the world will look like for the next generation in 100 years down the line. But then again, I'll be long gone by then, so it's not really my problem. (callus, but true)

I'm completely terrified of needles. My entire family has gotten the swine flu shot, and I haven't. I would get the shot if I weren't so goddamn afraid of needles.
I'm also afraid of needles and I'm also the only person out of my family, that didn't get the swine flu injection due to fear.

Open spaces, confined spaces.
Heights, depths.

But seriously, the only thing I'm afraid of is not being able to breath.

A lot of things actually.

(Take my advice: NEVER watch a countdown of the 100 Scariest Movie Moments at night. Just... trust me on this one.)

My fears include needles, heights (as in falling from), dead things, the undead, rabies (though I love dogs), sharp objects, drowning, strangers (and my love of crime shows doesn't help), the dark, blood (to a point), being buried alive, pain, death, nuclear weapons, the end of the world, and er... rape (as a young female, this is a pretty big one for me, and again, my fondness for crime shows doesn't help on this one either...).

So yeah, I'm fairly paranoid.

[Davyjones]Do you fear, DEATH?[/Davyjones]

I'm afraid of heights. OK, not too much... I've parasailed before, which was great fun, but I was extremely apprehensive before going down. It's rickety things that get me. At an adventure centre, fully harnessed and safe, I couldn't make it to the top of a ladder that was supposed to begin an aerial obstacle course, just because it wobbled a bit...

I'm also afraid of things jumping out at me. I've said this once before, but one time on my birthday, my friends had a surprise party for me, and when they jumped out at me I nearly fainted.

EDIT: an easier understood example: I have no problems with creepy-crawlies, spiders and te like, but one time I was shifting planks out of my garden into a skip, and the bottom one was damp and semi-rotten from rain. I lifted it up and a bunch of woodlice and spiders scarpered everywhere. I dropped the plank straight away and pretty much ran off, screaming like a 7 year old girl...

i really really dislike spiders.

I dont have any proper fears, but I get slightly nervous when I'm up high and there isn't anything stopping you from falling.
But as a couple of jokes:
I have:
Clourophobia
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliaphobia (Google it, oh the irony)
Agorophobia (I keep suing people for ridiculous reasons but they keep acting sensible and stopping me form getting money from them)

I used to be afraid of spiders but I recently got over that fear so I don't think I'm afraid of anything anymore. Hmm, then again I guess it kind of depends on the situation. For example, am I afraid of polar bears? No. Would I be afraid if I was standing next to a polar bear? Probably, especially if it was hungry.

Im not afraid of heights, Im more afraid of depths...
Ive been in the open ocean before with friends... I was terrified when I was in the water... it just... keeps going down. and I have no idea whats down there at the moment...

That and Im also afraid of anyone else out after 2am. Ive had to bike home from friends houses around that time... and the bars close around then... so I dont trust anyone
