Okay, Long story short.
I'm an ex-WoW player and i was thinking about trying guild wars.
What I'm looking for is something kinda like wowhead.com
Or a beginner's resource (The who, what, where, when and why of the game, Social hints are nice. with WoW There's looting rules in group, What are common rules in guild wars? ect.)
Any real advice on classes or end game would be nice too.

No looting rules, all loot is automatically assigned. Loot isn't as big as of thing in GW. Almost everyone has the exact same armor, it just looks different. I might be on, I'm Pantsoff Danceoff. I only PvP though, GW has the best PvP.

There's a Guild Wars Wiki to answer your questions.

GW has terrible pvp. If anyone says "its good" then they are retarded. The story is nice, and PvE is amazing.

All I can really add is that if you end up getting Guild Wars, don't hesitate to send me a PM if you need help. If you'd like I can link up with you in the game world when you first get started and help you out with just about anything you need.

I would say Guild Wars is fundamentally flawed in alot of places (the no jump was a big turnoff for me), but i guess it is alot more casual than a game like WoW, lord knows how many hours i had to play deep into the night because of time difference.

If Guild Wars is friendly to casual play, it's only because if you can't find teammates, the game will provide you with NPCs. I'd give a second thought if you're a fan of solo play, since GW is much more limited even that WoW in that regard, but if that's not a concern, I recommend the game highly.

I've heard mixed things for both communities, but since I solo 90% of the time regardless of game, I'm not one to talk to on that front. The only community I could say anything about would be City of Heroes (generally positive).

My experience with the community has been nothing but positive. It's rather enjoyable and layed back.

Yes you can. They have a guild wars trilogy package that you can buy that comes with all three games (prophecies, factions, nightfall). It does not include to Eye of the North expansion but thats dirt cheap now anyways. The three guild wars titles are like stand alone games that are at the same time interconnected with each other in the sense that you can carry your characters over to them. You can buy any one of the three and play without the others, buying the other 2 only expands the game. Eye of the North is the only thing that requires you to have one of the other three games to use.

I would recommend that you get friends who will play with you. Otherwise, it's rather dull. Then again, I say that about all MMOs. It's just BETTER when you LAN up with some buddies to go kill the latest threat to Whereverville.

Okay, What's the "PvP" one for? is it worth getting?
They all have PvP. If your looking for the BEST PvP out of them, Factions supposedly has it.
