The only problem I have that affects my life slightly is that it usually takes me 2 - 3 hours of lying in total darkness each night to fall asleep. I wish I could slow down all the thoughts that go through my head at night, I was going to try mediation.

Does anybody do meditation here? Would it help me sleep?
I don't do meditation, but something that sometimes works to get my mind to slow down is to count from 0-500 in increments of 3, and back down again.

I've also read somewhere that it's easier to sleep if you only get into bed when you're feeling sleepy....Oh well, that's beside the point (interesting, though, right?).

In terms of my silly body.....Hmmmm....My mind is rather crazed (brain, if you like)- my mother's side of the family has a nice history of obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, and depression, and some of that passed to me (okay, all of it). I'm not complaining though- I'm very happy I have the brain I do.....Wouldn't have been much of a cellist if I didn't.....

Hmm, I'm blind in my right eye (have been since birth), and I have tinnitus (high pitched ringing in the ears, gotta listen to soft music all the time to make it go away). Those are the things I find most annoying about my body. I'm rather happy with my fucked up brain, even though many wish it worked a bit more "normallY".

Narrow Eustachian Tubes. My ears can become filled with fluid extremely easy, which really sux, because I like to hear stuff.

Sleepy alot... TBH, I have alot of annoying issues, but otherwise I have a clean bill of health.

My gosh darn knees. Ever since I dislocated my left knee two years ago, I can't run for more than a couple of seconds. Also, it hurts like a sonuvabitch in cold weather.

A good friend of mine has a similar complaint. She busted her knee playing netball, and now she can predict rain, heh. Her knee gets really painful about a day before a storm. I reckon it's handy, but she's not quite as impressed as I.

My ears and/or face spontaneously heat up and receive increased bloodflow occasionally. I don't know why, and I've never seen a doctor about it.

I have an allergy to ALL perfumed products, which causes a red rash that itches like hell in extreme temperatures (really cold or hot) and is constantly weeping plasma. I also have an ear infection which has lasted about 2 months...

I'm addicted to crack. I'm constantly shivering and I'm angry all the time. I'm going to go kill myself now.
Not funny.
I agree, not funny at all.

I have the same issues as well with sleep. Melatonin helped a lot. You can get it in any drug/grocery store vitamin isle. It is natural and cheap.

I have ezcema, a kind of skin disorder that causes rashes and scabs when I eat certain foods. For me its large amounts of sugar. Some people it is different but I cant eat a whole lot of sugar, mind you I am talking like 2-3 pounds equivilance, without getting rashes that itch like hell for a week.

And right now I have some dandruff so I think I will have a shower than go to bed.
My best mate through primary school had eczema really bad. Literally covered his entire body save for the majority of his face. I've haven't seen him in a few years, but I know how much pain and itching his condition caused him. You have my deepest sympathies. Makes my complaints seem like piss in bathwater.

Dandruff. If treated it goes away, but it's never cured.

I spent my life between age 14 & 21 going to an ear doctor once a month/every three months to unclog the earwax from my ears. Doctors said I seem to have a wax factory in there. Annoys me to these days (nearly 23 now), but haven't got my ear clogged for a long time.

Beard. Wish I didn't have the damn thing. Then I wouldn't hafta shave to not look messy or dirty.

& I agree, balls are uncomfortable & need constant readjustment.

I don't even take no-frills paracetamol when I get any sort of headache be it weak or strong. I just sort of ignore it and it has worked since I was young, so I won't be taking a drug to get me to sleep.

It was a good suggestion but I just think taking a pill to fix you when it's not necessary is wrong but yeah thanks for the suggestion.

I think my physical health is near perfect. How very odd.
I really need to get that checked out.

Same here, though I don't usually notice it unless I'm thinking about it...like now. Weird thing is, I have perfect hearing and I've never had a head or ear injury, so the doctors have basically no clue why my ears ring all the time.

I also have ridiculously low blood pressure (the last time I had it checked the machine bugged out because it could barely even detect it), which isn't annoying in itself, but it's related to the fact that I hardly ever have any energy...and that's definitely annoying.
