Same here. I thought season 4 was great and was even improved by *gasp* the manatee gags (crazy, I know). Hell, even with the loss of the mad genius thing I thought the new Stewey made for a funnier dynamic with Brian. It started to go downhill afterwards, though, and the gags got a great deal less funny.

As for the OP, the problem seems to lie in the writers. We'll need to know about the writing staff before we can judge/flame messageboards in anger.

I still enjoy Family Guy. Obviously they rely a bit too much on pop culture but hey, it's their niche and it works.

I'm looking forward to new episodes of Futurama. It was never my favorite show but it does have some good characters and scattered moments of brilliance. I've really enjoyed the last couple of DVDs they have made as well. Here's hoping that the new season will be good.

Take a decent idea, make a pilot out of it. Choose not to pick it up and so it just goes to waste all the while they pump out shit over done shows like FG and Futurama. -.-;;;
