The Discworld point and click games. I loved those! I looked on ebay and people want ridiculous money for them, rare apparently.

System Shock 2
It got a remake it was called BioShock. (Har Har I are so clever quoting Yahtzee)

Sorry I just felt like posting that for some reason.

Some squeenix ones:

-3d Chrono Trigger. There are some videos out there of a fanmade project with impressive working 3d models of the main cast, but they were given a cease and desist letter. pity.

-Though I've never played it myself, I find the idea of a remastered HD final fantasy vii very attractive. It's considered by many to be the best of the series, and considered by even more to be a turning stone in RPG history.

-Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep needs port for the PS3. It really should have been a console game, considering how much better it was than every other portal KH game. It really looked more like the console KH games, and had a lot more plot significance than the portables too.

Random one:

Metal Arms seems like it'd make a great HD game.

I'm all for a Jak collection. A Kingdom Hearts one would be a better delay to the third than that silly Final Fantasy game the developer is making, but only if it contained the PS2 version of Chain of Memories.
At this point they should just throw together a KH collection the first two, re:CoH, and possibly BBS.

It'd sell.

sigh... I Feel bad for being MASSIVE hypocrite right now but i will try to make myself feel better by going in depth.
Dark Cloud 1 & 2, Both of these games are highly underrated, and if they add more levels weapons game mechanics and in game goodies i would be happy. PLUS if the game sells well Level-5 might actually grow some balls and dare to make the highly anticipated Dark Cloud 3.

Also Earthbound, Japan got Mother 3 3d for the N64 and the original Gameboy release, NOw with the 3ds we should, nay GET, a 3D fully fled built from the ground up collections of each game. Again with more goodies to get more levels, bosses, maybe even voice acting, and anime cut scenes. But Again(again) Nintendo first has to grow some balls to do a project that expensive. sad face...

(P.S. What is up with the new captcha? its moving?)
BOTH OF THESE TO THE MAX.

Just a couple nitpicks for the dark cloud remakes though, the original needs to throw the "your weapon is gone forever" thing in the shitter and follow the sequel's durability model.

Dark Cloud two would need to make Monica's transformation spells less hernia-inductively painfully mind-splittingly useless.

And both Dark Clouds would have to make it less of a huge pain in the ass to level up the characters you completely ignored when you get to the final dungeon and it makes you use them.

Capcom canned a North American Mega Man Legends 3 release, as well as Ace Attorney Investigations II, and Phoenix Wright vs Professor Layton. Not only would I love for them to do an about face on that, I would love for Mega Man Legends 1, 2, and the spin off, The Misadventures of Tronne Bonne, to be ported. Mostly those last 2, I'd like to be able to own a copy of them that wont set me back 80 dollars for used. Ideally, they'd also remove the edits to the English version, and restore Rock to his puppy punting ways.

Also, If I see a remake of Half life Before H-L 3 comes out, someones face will look like a spoon made with a fist...
That sounds like a serious threat. Let's hope you don't see Half-Life: Source.

(Unless someone else has already mentioned this...)

I think a remake of the Metal Gear games in the style of MGS 1-3 would work. More arcade-y, less cut-scenes. Solid Snake fighting Big Boss. Backstory for the Solid games. What's not to like?

How Final Fantasy VII can be not re-released, I have no clue. It would look ugly as hell, it would suck by modern standards, but the sales figures would be incredible. How can SquareENIX not see this? They could fund half a year of their horrible management by simply doing this re-release.

Zelda, Zelda 2 and Super Metroid. I'd like to see them in a better graphics remake but also change some stuff in them so they are not like the ocarina of time remake.

Master of Orion. MOO1 and MOO2 were awesome-I wasted away many sweet hours of my youth playing. Then MOO3 came along and was such a dog it destroyed the franchise. Someone needs to bring the awesomeness of yore back.

Baldurs Gate series, Planescape Torment, Arcanum, Fallout 1/2, Streets of Rage 2/3, FF7 and Xenogears. They're all great games with dated graphics.

I hear you.
The N64 port of MegaMan Legends was pretty good, thought it could have used a little tightening.

I would love to see an upgrade of Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast). Yes, there's a version on Steam. No, it's not a next-gen remake. I think it would be cool to play that game with all of the cool features we have now like Anti-Aliasing, Aniosopteric (or however you spell it) filtering, etc. However, I want the original soundtrack.

Also, I prefer Dr. Robotnik to Dr. Eggman.
