Hmm... This thread was posted as one of the reasons as to why this site should be raided on /v/ a while ago, but I can't quite put my finger on what's so special about this topic to make this site raid worthy.

Probably because /v/, like the rest of 4chan, is full of idiots with nothing better to do? Just putting that forward as a suggestion, because I'm sick of everybody mouthing off about "4chan isn't so bad, apart from /b/", because that's patently false.

It's not like it was the ONLY reason. They were discussing how the forums have fallen, how the mods can't do their jobs properly, alot of stuff about Cuddly_Tomato and so on.

Thats because Cuddly_Tomato got one of the /v/irgins banned by having a discussion with him (read arguement), said /v/irgin went ballistic and tried to raid this place, all went according to plan as standard Escapist trolling tactics were used and we merely ignored him and had our own conversation.

(why not /i/?).

I heard a (Long) while ago that /v/ hated us or something, maybe the person who Posted the "Raid Suggestion" heard the same thing?

Not only /v/ but the RPGCodex forums have a huge beef with us too, you can find them sometimes making threads about their exploits of trolling on here, its incredibly pathetic because they can't actually troll well, but they will big themselves up about how "its so easy to troll the mods on the Escapist" when in fact what happens is they say something rude and we ignore them and have our own conversation and then they get permabanned.

Apparently saying something rude and promoting discussion on a forum makes you the greatest troll on Earth.

Way to bring a forum to its knees kid, you promoted healthy discussion.

Well, I can't exactly comment on the guy myself, seeing as I hardly know who the fuck he is aside from that he has/used to have a Butters avatar, I think? But the stuff written in the thread was about how he's this sites troll who has a second account which is a moderator, that he uses to ban anyone that calls him a troll.

Cuddly Tomato is in fact, Yahtzee.

Also, trolling this site is insanely easy. Post an offensive image and you guys talk about it for weeks.

Yeah, you just proved the point I made to TheNumber1Zero, a troll makes a post and we actively talk about it while ignoring the troll. Thats not trolling and its certainly not bringing a forum to its fucking knees, what gets me is when other site regulars then state it was some sort of "raiding win" when we are completely indifferent to the situation.

So yeah your right in a way, its easy to troll here, its just not very effective because we all go "whatever, some dude did some shit and we forgot about it".

Case in point, some users on this thread are the more hardcore members of this forum and they've gone "yeah some guy on some forum, hates us, yeah something, fuck if I know!"

I don't know if you're serious or not in your claim that he's Yahtzee, but whatever.

His IP logs are the same and he speaks in the same manner as Yahtzee, he claims to have been recently divorced much like Yahtzee, Cuddly Tomato never gives out any info and is a word assassin.

Well, it's all words on a computer, so I can't say it with 100% certainty. But people seem to be freaking out over it. When someone posted a picture of some old woman getting a blowjob the other day people were like "GET IT OUT OF HERE, OH MY GOD", and that sure as hell seems like the reaction you want from something as simple as that, wouldn't you agree?

Yes you are right, shit storms do happen, but its not due to us getting beaten by trolls its more to do with us keeping our garden clean, The Escapist is a park that we enjoy and when a dog owner lets his dog shit in it we go mental.

Its not our park and its not our rules, but we love this park and we can't fucking stand dog shit everywhere.
