A calzone (Italian "stocking" or "trouser" or "drooping sack" or "hanging fold" sometimes referred to as an italian sac, is an Italian turnover made from pizza dough and stuffed with cheese (usually mozzarella cheese and Ricotta, but some varieties contain Parmesan, Provolone, or a locally substituted cheese), ham or salami, vegetables, or a variety of other stuffings. It is typically served with marinara sauce on the side for dipping, or topped with garlic and parsley infused olive oil. The dough is folded over, sealed on one edge, salted, then baked. In Italy the stuffing is always tomato, cheese and ham, and the calzone is never served with a sauce.Indigo_Dingo said:....does that actually mean, like, anything at all?PlasticPorter said:Killzone 2?
More like Calzone 2!
My guess? This thread is about the original poster seeing this in a magazine: Killzone, an exclusively PS3 game, also released for the XBOX and PC?! He hopes it's true, but his Google skills failed to confirm it for him, so he goes to a forum hoping somebody would find out for him.ElArabDeMagnifico said:Alright so what's this thread about? Saying "lol, first killzone was shit!" or do we go "LOL OMG TYPO!!!"?
I didn't bother reading through all of the replies, but I can tell you that it's impossible for it to because if you kindly look at the publisher you will notice that it is Sony publishing the game. To be fair I almost shit myself when I noticed that after I got it in the mail as well.hippo24 said:I just received my GI (GameInformer) magazine,(I get them for free because I bought one of those Gamestop cards) and I stumbled upon the Killzone 2 article. I started casually reading when i looked at the title which stated the there is a PC and Xbox version. I recently scoured the internet and the only sources that said Resistance is a multi-port game sounded like the wishes of fanboys.
Must be a typo but its odd none the less.

You know, when Gorilla made the first one everyone said, "Oh my God Sony is making this game to be a Halo killer!" and when it dropped it got treated like crap because everyone expected it be like Halo, but better. Neither Gorilla or Sony ever claimed it was going to be a Halo killer. It's always been fan boys. The first game had the best intro I've ever seen in a game as far as pulling the player in. The game play was so so, but the story was really good considering it was a linear FPS. This game should be good if not great, but I think it would be a shame if this was the major selling point for the PS3 considering we already have several great IP's that are good. (Drakes fortune, Warhawk, and Metal Gear.)hippo24 said:I am more or less excited about what they have said. Ever since resistance 2 ( a game revered by many to be the ps3's halo killer) came out and did "all right" I Have been waiting for their next attempt. Killzone 2 was apparently supposed to be their halokillerkiller, as a friend I know once called it, and was supposed to sell better,Indigo_Dingo said:People are excited about this game?
and be better than halo 3.
So if killzone lives up to the hype, it will crush every FPS under their mighty Helghast boot and proclaim the PS3 the winning console.
Reality might have a thing or two to say about that.
Calzone rhymes with Killzone therefore making it a PUN!Indigo_Dingo said:I knew that part, but what part of Pizza 2 makes any damn sense in reference to an Iraq-War-on-an-alien-planet FPS?PlasticPorter said:A calzone (Italian "stocking" or "trouser" or "drooping sack" or "hanging fold" sometimes referred to as an italian sac, is an Italian turnover made from pizza dough and stuffed with cheese (usually mozzarella cheese and Ricotta, but some varieties contain Parmesan, Provolone, or a locally substituted cheese), ham or salami, vegetables, or a variety of other stuffings.
