I have never walked out of a movie, because I always hold hope that it may redeem itself.

Btw, I saw before someone say they walked out the Dark Knight. I really can't believe anyone would, that film was just amazing. Your choice though.
They probably had to pee :p
Despite its massively long length, and the fact that I had just downed a massive Pepsi, I did not leave to use the toilet because it was just so very, very good.

^^ Same dude. I've never peed for so long after it. I held that pee in for like an hour. Hehe, if that isn't a sign of how awesome the movie is - I really don't know what is. :D

Alexander: know I saw it in the theater but the rest I seem to have blocked from memory.

Fellowship of the ring: The movie was long and I was expecting action and what I got was a bunch of talking that amounted to step 1 got to big giant volcano, step 2 throw evil ring that makes me invisible to everyone but my enemy into volcano, step 3 hop on bed with my friends while the wizard, dwarf, elf, and swordsman laugh creepily in the background.

The clone wars/Phantom Menace: Dear god Lucas what have you done? First you give us jar jar which was a new level of hell in itself, and when you see our reaction what do you do you allow some other writer to make the damn droids into jar jar (Dear sweet jesus if you thought one jar jar was bad wait until you see about 10-20 ones that talk and another 2-3 hundred that don't). Geroge Lucas three little words WTF!

Mortal Combat: If I need to explain this one then it is a sad day indeed.

Robots. I would've walked out but it was my brother's birthday and he wanted to see it so I suffered through it. Out of the 10 of us that went (my entire family) only me and my brother stayed awake.

That Ben Stein: Expelled movie. I thought it was going to be funny and show how stupid we are but it was all about intelligent design vs. evolution. That's the first movie I have ever fell asleep in.

Yea I did come close to leaving that one I must admit. Mike Myers has had his time in the sun with Wayne's World and the first Austin Powers. He should just retire now while he still has some comic credibility.

I also came incredibly close to leaving my screening of Cloverfield. Apart from the stupidly nauseating camera work, I was really bored by the actual contents of the film as well. I mean half an hour at some party with nothing interesting or meaningful at all happening? Come on! Then even when things got going I was sick and tired of just getting a good look at the sidewalks of New York and the fantastic footwear used by the cast. Diary of the Dead did the 1st person thing better.

Any film made by the guys that made "Meet The Spartans" or "Epic Movie" I can't stand. I actually recently wanted to walk out of "The Happening", but my dad paid and I wasn't gonna disrespect him like that!

The first part of Grindhouse is good: plenty of zombie killing action. The second part is completely different: bitches talk, swear, talk, swear, got run over, talk some more, talk some more, swear some more. I couldn't stand how boring Death Proof is and my friend and I just walked out of the movie theatre.

I hated Transformers. It wasn't Transformers. Stayed in the hopes that it would improve, but it didn't. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was dull. It really tried to reclaim the magic of the original movies, but it didn't work. Spider-Man 3 was painfully bad.

Myself I have never walked out of a movie, but I have never put myself in a position were I have to watch something terrible: If I'm going to the movies it's because I like the director or actors involved and they always put on a good show.

That being said I have been dragged along by friends to some shocking movies that I had to sit though for them: All 3 New Star Wars, Sponge Bob, Wild Wild West, Borat, A.I, Troy, Terminator 3, Transformers, Wolf Creek: all horseshit.

I have never walked out of a cinema before. Usually if I think I may not like a film I won't see it. Same goes for dvds. I've been forced to watch a few films that I didn't think I'd like and actually did (e.g. Mean Girls, Not Another Teen Movie) but I have yet to watch a film I thought I'd like and not like it.

I have a pretty good handle on what movies I'll like, and tend to stick to those

if I dislike a movie, I usually sit through it, then find someone with a similar point of view and discuss the problems with it with them

that way, I get some enjoyment out of it.

Son of the mask. Horrible but my ex wanted to see it at the time. At least I got some for taking her.

I walked out of "Napolean Dynamite", it was just so bad. When the kids at my school found out they were all like "WTF DOOD?!?! IT'S LIEK TEH BEST MOVAY EVARR!!" with them wearing "Vote Pedro" t-shirts. All it was was;
"Dude, are you going to ask her out?"
"....I don't know...maybe"
"...Well...you should"
"Probably..."
.......next scene
*Napoloean sortof yells at his dad to shut up*
next scene
*Napolean is taking care of some chicken eggs*

I know it was probably the charm of the movie, but god it was so horrible! My own god damn life is more interesting than that movie, I do not want to watch someone else hanging around the lockers talking about the stuff I talk about!

And I nearly walked out of Speed Racer, not because it was bad I actually quite liked it, but because I had 3 seziurs and an apiphany while watching it and I was sure I needed medical care.

Yes, I nearly had an epiphany too, lucky the "oooh pretty colours" part of my brain was over-ridden by my "yay! explosions" part.
Napoleon Dynamite was shite yes, my flat mate hired it out and we watched it. I will watch a bad film with a friend or two as long as a) we're mocking it and b) booze is involved somewhere.
