prototype, i had no idea what the fuck was happening except i had a good time, they should have left out the story to make more room for surfing on people online challenges.

i got something about a virus turning people into red zombies and that you where the virus, i think, and that alex mercer released the virus, maybe.
The actual game doesn't reveal much about the story, you need to do the Web of Intrigue to get the full deal.

And it still isn't that good of a story, but at least it has less holes.

Sonic Adventure 2. Seriously, look up why Sonic was captured by the army. You've been warned. (If you want a better experience, watch the first 20 minutes or so of the Sonic Adventure 2 movie)

Yes, I quoted from Gwen Stefani Yahtzee. No, I'm not sorry.
Fixed that for ya.

Anything I read from the entire Metal Gear Solid canon just causes me to blink and make "buh?" noises. The last third or so of Final Fantasy 9, most of Final Fantasy 10, various episodes of House, countless movies (but particularly The Matrix and Donnie Darko)... I've lost count of the times I've sat in front of the screen wondering what the hell was happening.

Seaguy

This is from the second page of the story.

There's also The Filth where a pornographic terrorist attacks all the fertile women in Los Angeles with sperm cells the size of cannon balls. It's also suggested that all of reality might be a stain on a guy's floor

I was actually scatching my head due to my wonder where the fuck the fuck the plot actually was!
Did you react the same way with Lucky Star? Because the first couple of episodes I was completely baffled. Then, once I had seen a few, I realized that there was a minor plot, but it was unimportant. Still one of the best Animes in existence in my opinion.
Lucky Star is a comedy anime; it doesn't need a proper plot. Look at Magical Pokkan [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renkin_3-ky%C5%AB_Magical_%3F_Pok%C4%81n]. If you've seen any of the episodes then you'll know that there's no main plot, They just go on really strange adventures and live a everyday life (sorta). And the same can be said about lucky star.

OT: If anything; FLCL made me go WTF in almost every episode. But that What-the-fuckery always had me coming back for more.

I just watched a movie called Andre the Butcher. The plot was ridiculously simple but there were a couple of WTF moments both good and bad.

Another example would be the movie Basic. It sends about 6 or 7 plot twists your way in the final 15 minutes and it's difficult to not get lost along the way. And since the movie wasn't all that great to begin with (to be fair it had its moments), I don't recommend watching it.

Dark City. Ok so our protagonist is running around this city trying to get to some beach that apparently doesn't exist. Along the way it's revealed that the whole city is really a science experiment conducted by aliens. But none of that concerns him all he's concerned about is the bloody beach.

The first time I saw Inland Empire I was afraid my brain might try to evacuate through my ears, so I spent the final hour or so curled up in the fetal position as I held my ears tightly humming "I'm Going Slightly Mad" by Queen.
After researching the film and deciphering its meaning I've since come to see as Lynch's masterpiece; a favorite movie of mine, yet that first watch was truly brutal.

I was lost throught most of Transformers 2. Probably because I was half asleep, and feel asleep for like 2 hours after it was done. But yeah, I really didn't take anything in. You could ask me what happened, and I honestly couldn't tell you.
That, Dewgong, is because nothing happened in it...I was very disappointed.
