Waking up, going downstairs, setting up the Rock Band mic, turning it on, and being so happy that it still works.
Seriously, it may not seem like too much, but it's lovely not to see 'The Microphone could not be found etc. etc.' each time.

And there's that taste in my mouth that I call the taste of sleep. Just when I wake up, before eating or drinking, there's the taste.

Late at at night during the winter, you sit down and stick on a good movie. The fire's lit and you drift off to sleep. Then, waking up during the small hours and the embers of the fire are twinkling, the lights are off and the film's on the menu screen with some nice music playing quietly. The title screen in Halo 1/3 is also great for this.

Cold winter nights, power chords, the feeling of slipping gently to sleep.
Sunrises, sunsets, and stars.
Grey mornings when the sun is up but noone's around.
Green hillsides, blue skies, puffy white clouds.
The smell of coffee, perfect ambient temperature, and good company.

That the sort of thing you mean?

The smell of a freshly lit match is a particular favourite. Only lasts a second and then its gone.

I've got a whole list, so I'll just put up a few.

Receiving a glass of iced water just after walking 12km with a 20kg backpack.
Fresh bread.
Lying back in the middle of no-where at about 2am on a cloudless night and just looking at the stars.
Curling up for a movie/good album with a close friend.
Waking up to good coffee.
Sigur Ros concerts.

Strong breezes, rainy weather, and overcast skies, looking at the sky in general.

Dark nights in the city, deep orange lights reflecting off the pavement, sound of cars by your window.

Going for a walk for no reason at all.

Those little objects that bring you memories of your childhood.

And apple cider. Yum.
