My internship at a local comic book store started today, and mostly teenage girls hang out there (Totally awesome!). My spiel goes a little like this:

Me: "Hey, my name is Ben and I'm a lazy intern trying to not have to work, can I help you with anything?"

Me: "Are you getting something for your boyfriend? But you do have a boyfriend right?! No!? Well in that case my name is Ben and I'm taking you out for some coffee."

Forgive me if someone's already said this (thread is tl:dr), but I believe "You're My Vampire" is a song by Marilyn Manson... Don't know if that helps you, but maybe he was referring to that...?
