Thoughts on PS3 update 3.0

I miss the Playstation 3 logo coming up when I play a game. And I don't like the new logo at startup. And the glitter is pointless and kind of camp.

I like the new update, and if you mean having voice chat while in game, it's not that great. Just imagine a bunch of people jabbering about random stuff in the background while you're trying to play. Very distracting.

Seeing as I downloaded the 3.0 update yesterday and haven't turned on my PS3 since, it'd be a good time to go check that...

Edit: Oh man, this new interface is shiny. Makes me want to buy more PS3 games!

it's a pointless update , i want to customize my xmb ,turn off what i don't want ... the video store is useless if you live in canada ... what they should fix is the freezing problems ,a major update of the web browser ,stop asking to run the plug in , x game chat would be nice ... as for the glitter effect ... meh

I hate how it goes to What's New every time I turn it on, and I have to wait a bit for it to stop loading that garbage before I can go elsewhere. The little news crawl thing worked fine, or the fact that most of us already know to check on Thursdays for what's new. Having the same stuff loading up every time I power on is redundant.

we also get ALL bbc channels, a better mail system .. and a flash upgrade, the most recommended PSS material ........... ... yeah the gay glitter pisses me off too

I like it, and if your going to leave the PS3 now just because you don't get everything you want, right when you want it, leave now. The 360 will disappoint you aswell.
