Yeah, that'll show them! Get an Xbox 360, so you can talk via headset to all your Playstation 3 friends! What could possibly go wrong?
I still play Gran Turismo 2, Syphon Filter 1-3, and Quake II on my PS3 and none of them have lag. I'm not sure what you're talking about, it could be game specific. I know my Silent Hill 2 has some leg twitching when James stands still, and some parts in Megaman X collection slow right down, all my other games work fine.Daedalus1942 said:Yes, there is, you do it via remote play and having a psone disc in the ps3. but there's a lag. Unfortunately if you want to play anything other than turn based rpgs, or a game like final fantasy 7,8,9 then you're out of luck. I tried playing Soul Reaver, but it lags too much. Any graphically challenging game (forget Metal Gear Solid) is unplayable.blood77 said:Got to agree with that.Daedalus1942 said:Cross game chat? we have that via text, or did you mean on headset?Numb1lp said:I can't believe Sony would reason with EA on this. I have been waiting for cross game chat for a while, and all we get is a glittery screen? If Sony doesn't add these things in a few months, I'm selling my PS3 and getting a 360. What are you going to do about it?
Also, they've made it easier to see if you've recieved messages and how many friends you have online.
Not JUST a glittery screen.
I personally wish they'd make an update for the ps3 and psp, which allows you to play psone games on your psp, without the lag that sometimes happens from hardware issues.
Btw, just on it's own little thing, is there a way to play PSP games on the PS3? I think that there is and I am just being lazy in figuring it out.
Sorry, i misunderstood. I was referring to you put a playstation one game in the ps3 (like metal gear solid) and try playing it on the psp via remote play, it lags... alot, so much it's unplayable.Syphonz said:I still play Gran Turismo 2, Syphon Filter 1-3, and Quake II on my PS3 and none of them have lag. First of all, it seems that Microsoft was able to work out a deal on the patent, so why not Sony? Once again, dropping the ball. They have officially added it now, but that still goes to support my theory of poor planning. Also, you really don't read my arguments at all do you?cleverlymadeup said:ummm the PS3 took out rumble due to a lawsuit over a patent infringement, it was a pretty well known thing, might want to look it up and also realize that i had mentioned it before
ok so if the PS3 controller is a piece of crap, then the PS2 and PS1 controllers would also be crap cause they're the same, minus the wire. your logic fails cause they're the same controller
Sony DID work out a deal, hence the dual shock 3 controllers, that came out well over a year agoTPiddy said:First of all, it seems that Microsoft was able to work out a deal on the patent, so why not Sony? You say the PS1 / PS2 controller is the same as the PS3.... well, do the PS1 / PS2 controllers have Six-Axis? No... do they have the shitty trigger / button hybrids? No... How about the built-in battery? No... they are not the same and you trying to say they are is just stupid.
