I dont exactly know what it means...

I see people who make a rude statement and try to prove it as a fact.
Does it mean "end of discussion"?

Please tell me, I have no idea.

Thank you,

Hey, he's new...Oh.

Usually when someone says a clever or funny comment which sums up everyones feelings.
I've never said it.
I think I should.

/thread.

You've pretty much got it figured out, when someone feels the discussion premise of a thread is rather weak or that they've managed to come up with a precise and un-arguable answer to something they'll type "/thread" to say that the thread need no longer continue and be left to degrade in the digital sands of time.

Case in point at this very moment since your question has been answered one might call for a /thread, but I'm not a mean person so I'll just stop typing.

Really? I've only ever seen it used in a "there's no way you can top this" kind of way.

It means end of thread, its like a BB code command for ending the thread (not literally, its the meaning though.)

p.s. you could have PM'd one of the members here, try not to make a whole new thread every time you have a question.
They never answere my questions, so I gave up.

I don't think it is, most of the time. It's more of a "this (insert object/picture/funny quote) is the best thing here." Of course, it's entirely down to the poster's opinion.

90% of the time "/thread" is used, it is because someone made a comment which he or she thought was so funny and relevant, that it could be the only comment possible due to his or her egocentric narcissistic nature. 81% of the time "/thread" is used, people are making a fool out of themselves by saying it; portraying themselves as childish and ignorant unimaginative forum dwellers.

19% of the time "/thread" is used is in a pretty funny way and context.

usually it's something douchebags say when they think they're clever. it isn't actually over unless somebody else quotes you and then puts "/thread," thereby verifying it.
This most definitely as a sub rule to /thread and let me just say it feels great when someone does that.

But yeah it seems you get the gist of it. Enjoy the rest of your stay on The Escapist and get ready fot the next hit flash game.

Journey to the Center of /b/!!

It is a shitty meme that was misinterpreted by Btards that came here without any knowledge of memes. You can't /thread your own post, of course you think your own post has everything that needs to be said because you are posting it!
