So this will be happening just like last time. And just like last time, I won't buy the DLC.

Wow, this article just reminds me how hopeless I am when it comes to zombie-like multi-player because this all sounds pretty fun to me. Good thing I can just play Left 4 Dead instead.

I don't think Versus ended up being counted as MP trust worthy of paying.

First Max Payne 3 and now this, expecting fans to pony up cash for unproven multiplayer for a series not known for their competitiveness. Would make sense if a multitude of players ending up enjoying it so much that they wouldn't have a problem paying for future content but alas, either have balls or just being stupid (perhaps both).

/facepalm

Flaming the shitty GFWL system and embracing the shitty "uPlay"(not) system? Sometimes people are just strange...
at least uplay works fine and i dont have to sit there for over 2 hours to register and it doesnt delete my profile just like that and my saves. i have uplay since AC2 and i never ever had any problems with it. LIVE on the other hand, i have problems.

Long as these won't include substantial singleplayer content, then I don't care.

It IS bullshit, not denying that, but at least I have a choice.

I'm still mystified by the addition of online multiplayer to a franchise that doesn't need it AT ALL, but I suppose that's where the sales are, for some reason.
Well that and the part where they retroactively decided that resiodent evil online wasn't a complete and utter failure.

I don't have any problems with uPlay neither. You know why? Because I stopped buying Ubisoft games when they started this shit.

Fortunately i currently have little reason to doubt that the campaigns themselves are worth the full price.

Not that i wont be waiting for reviews.

P. S.
I don't know if this was intentional, but 'Ustanak' is Serbo-Croatian for 'rise' as in 'Rise of the Governor'.

Haha, oh wow. And to think I was kinda miffed at Xbox getting the first 3 DLCs as timed exclusives.

Ugh. Do you really need to write articles in such a fashion? It's clear that they are releasing extra content to keep multiplayer interesting after launch. Why word it the way you did? To cash in on the DLC rage, no doubt :/
Weird, I seem to remember playing Goldeneye with my friends for years after it came out, and that came as a complete package with no add-ons to inflate the already lofty £60 price tag.

The whole 'lengthening the gameplay experience' argument falls flat with things like this that are revealed so far in advance of a games launch. No one will ever convince me that things like this are anything other than blatant cash grabs.

New map packs can expand a game but they need time to be concepted and tested. New story arcs create completely different missions and can flesh out a story. These DLC gameplay modes will require little to no changes to the existing game short of control-mapping different playable characters (for which the models will already, most likely, exist in the rest of the game).

There is nothing new being created, it is simply holding content that already exists --and that we used to get for free-- to ransom.

I honestly don't expect the multiplayer to live long enough for these modes to matter, and they're going the Skyrim route with DLC? Well fuck you too, Capcom.

I really wish that Capcom wasn't begging to be put on my shitlist lately, because I love most of their IP's to death.
Capcom are on my shitlist already for Resident Evil 5's bullshit and shenanigans. Not to mention the sudden Mega Man hate and the lack of some of the best IP's of the last generation still being around.

Where's my Viewtiful Joe 3 Capcom!? WHERE!?

OT: So? Who's actually gonna play it multiplayer? Isn't RE a single player experie... oh wait... fuck you Capcom!

Is there something going on in the background from Sony's business practices, or is PS3 just a much more difficult console to develop for?
It's a well established fact that PS3 is harder to develop for. It's why it didn't have any games for the longest time.

OT: Oh well, probably not getting Resi6 since I haven't even finished 4 yet. Kinda perplexed as to why they would only add game modes. Would much rather see a few new maps and game modes to go with them. Though I'm pretty sure the multiplayer for this game will be shit since they almost always are. Single player games should be left as single player. Multiplayer only sucks resources from the single player experience.

Silly Capcom. I wish they'd stop being idiots. The only way this would be okay is if either the main game is released at a cheaper price or if the DLC is very cheap, otherwise it's really stupid.
