Three of Resident Evil 6's Multiplayer Modes Will be Paid DLC

All three modes (it's implied they'll be sold separately) are timed exclusives for the Xbox 360. No news on a PS3 release as of yet.

Ok is it just me, or is there something REALLY WRONG with Sony?

People here apparently like to blame Bethesda and now Capcom for releasing certain content or updates, patches, etc. On 360 and/or PC versions but the PS3 version usually getting the short end of the stick. But I think it might have something to do with Sony. Is there something going on in the background from Sony's business practices, or is PS3 just a much more difficult console to develop for?

Either way, I think its become more than a coinidence now when it seems like PS3 users are getting the boot in most of these games recently.

Microsoft pays money for preferential treatment from third-party developers, Sony pays for first party developers period. Compare Gears of War, Halo, and Fable to Infamous, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid, Killzone, Resistance, God of War, Journey, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo...I think they're okay with their 3rd party DLC coming a little late.

So Activision announces and releases 3 10 bucks for 4 character skin packs for Transformers MP (not escalation) and not a peep.

Capcom announces 3 new game modes being sold as DLC and it is front page on the war against DLC?

Fine by me. I doubt anyone will buy RE6 for the MP. It is just going to reflect very poorly on them in the end, regardless. If the MP is good, people are gonna be mad they didn't include it in a game you are already spending $60 on. And if it sucks, people who buy it are gonna be pissed because they spent extra money on it.

I am looking forward to this game, I just think that maybe it's time for some new management over at Capcom.

I really wish that Capcom wasn't begging to be put on my shitlist lately, because I love most of their IP's to death.

From what little is known at this point, Ustanak isn't a racist reference to anything. I guess they just thought the word sounded cool and decided to give it to the creature. Unless they make it wear a white-n-red checkered cape and wave around three fingers in the air, it's not racist.

Well...that's half the multiplayer people are going to have fun finding people to play a few months after launch.
