congratulations, after knocking out the a world famous scientist (for reasons i don't care about, you can fill in that blank) you discovered that he recently invented a time machine. yay. what will you do with it? go back and buy a lot of stock for a company to become rich, go back and adopt a dinosaur, shake hands with your long lost ancestor, or something that i didn't think of or was to lazy to type. by the way, the time machine only has enough energy for a round trip, so choose carefully.

I'd go back in time to give myself some good advice on which descisions i should take over the course of my life. I'm indecisive about everything, but as long as i have someone to tell me what to do I'll be sweet. Along with advice about what i should do in certain situations, I'd make sure to tell my past self some 'lucky' lottery numbers too

I'd probably go to the future. The past doesn't really interest me.
Hopefully in 3000 years we've mastered space travel or technology to the point where my time machine can make more than a round trip as well.
Or you know, the universe was destroyed, in which case damn.

Doesn't matter what you're doing in the past because you've already done it. I would either go to the late Cretaceous period to observe the dinosaurs in their natural environment or go to the future to see the peak of man's civilization and if man can achieve Gene Roddenberry's Utopian civilization. I.E. Star Trek
