TimeSplitters 2 - Compatibility and experience?

I recently remembered how insanely fun I found TimeSplitters 2. I spent 3 days on and off playing it while recording with my band, got pwned a whole lot but loved every minute of it. I wanna get a copy but MS say the Xbox version won't run on the 360. Anyone have any knowledge to the contrary? Also, anyone else have as much fun as I did? Always loved playing infection with a load of monkeys, usually i'd die just from laughing so hard I couldn't concentrate!

I agree, virus is CLASS to play with monkeys ^.^
try playing a proxy mine only game in chinese, it's ridiculously good fun!
I'm still trying to beat the game on hard mode. stuck on robot factory

Timeplitters 2, to this very day, remains my favourite game of ALL time. Backwards compatability works fine so long as you have a backwards compatable PS3, which I presume you have. GET IT.

Well thats just annoying! I wish Xbox backwards compatibility wasn't a load of bullshit and chips as Yahtzee says, it really is. Nothing for it, i'll have to get a PS3 just for TimeSplitters...

Robot factory actually took the piss. That is one of the hardest levels in a shooting game I have ever seen, it's just punishing. God I want to play that now, that mission has to get finished on hard.

I am unfamiliar with TS2, I played TS1 and TSFP(My favorite) the most.

I can confirm TS2 does not work with the 360 at the moment

I bought it pre-owned for £2.50 one day after college, it cheered me up immensley and I couldn't wait to get home, I slide it into the disc tray and BAM! Dissapointment

In the future it may become compatible, but it is not this day.

You remember that insane challenge where you had to kill like 50 robots in 3 minutes using your rocket launcher? I beat that, in fact I beat all of them. The zombie houses ftw!

I'd actually managed to get all the way to that last bit where there's about 20-30 robots, some with homing launchers on the bit of the level that's actually the arcade level. But seriously... that was just... impossible It's gutting that I got so far and just couldn't finish it You're right, this does need finishing (grabs game)

I loved TS2 and loved TSFP even more. Although on TS2 I loved doing 'star wars' fights. It's basically capture the bag on ice station with full bots, one hit kills and everyone starts with plasma autorifles.
