I can confirm TS2 does not work with the 360 at the moment

I bought it pre-owned for £2.50 one day after college, it cheered me up immensley and I couldn't wait to get home, I slide it into the disc tray and BAM! Dissapointment

In the future it may become compatible, but it is not this day.
Did you have an original Xbox as well? Cos if not, they're £20. It's worth it for TS2 alone.

TS2 = The greatest multiplayer experience.

Also: DAVE BENSON PHILIPS!
Yes! Another fan of Dave BP! He's been a hero of mine ever since I saw him perform live in Brighton :D
I loved him when he hosted that show where you got to dunk yer parents into gunge at the end. :D

Just remember, death, glory and balls of ice!

For the 360 it's unlikely, what witth the backwards comp only being as good as Microsoft could be arsed that day. Much less painful option is to get a second hand PS2 and the various Splitters games (like everyone else before me has said).
Even with all 3 and a console you're probably looking at around £40.

PS. Slimlines go for less than fat boys but run PS1 games slightly worse.

That would be Get Your Own Back, always a classic after-school show! Still funny now at the age of 20 though.

I've spent more time playing Timesplitters 2 for the Cube on my Wii than I have spent playing Wii games on my Wii. It's just too much fun..

Like me and Super Smash Bros Melee then.

But back to TS2, picked it up cheap, never looked back, still my PS2s second most played game. Now there is a happy ending.

Man that brings back memories.

I actually went out and bought a Multi-tap at great expense for my PS2 so me and my brother and our friends could play 4 player splitscreen.

Good time, good times.

I wasn't that bothered when my old Xbox broke, till I realised that it was the only way I could play Timesplitters 2. I really miss that game, I don't think I've ever had so much fun in any other shooter.

Man, I still love and play this game :D
I agree, virus is CLASS to play with monkeys ^.^
try playing a proxy mine only game in chinese, it's ridiculously good fun!
I'm still trying to beat the game on hard mode. stuck on robot factory :(
Agree with this completely, I however did manage to complete it on hard.
Mutiplayer is by far the best aspect though, co-op stories quite good fun, but I see it as mainly a social experience to enjoy with friends.

Also the challenges are great, and I got no where near completing those though

All about Corporal Hart

I loved that show, but I was probably the only person in the whole world who enjoyed it when the pupils lost. Absolutely quality to see the looks on their faces entering the gunge, knowing their teacher is watching (because it was always their bloody teacher on that show) ^.^

Brick fights were so funny, again made better with monkeys :p

Actually, was there anything that WASN'T made better with monkeys? Or gingerbread men?
Dinosaurs and snowmen. It always made me laugh when setting the snowman on fire and hearing him say "I'm melting!"

I was playing it the other day and it's as exhilarating as ever.
It's certainly time for Crytek (the new free radical) to make a sequel. Though they've been a bit caught up with creating visuals that hump your eyes and ejaculate beauty, eg. Crysis.

Their graphics also rape processors. I've just got myself a GeForce GTX260 and I'm expecting to still have trouble with Crysis.

I think I should start a new thread for Get Your Own Back! This thread is getting full of comments on GYOB.

Back on topic, anyone know where the cheapest place to get 2nd hand PS2's is? I'm thinking Amazon and GameStation for a start... I can't go without TimeSplitters for much longer!

I LOVED Timesplitters 2, Ice Station, Streets and Chinese were kickass levels. Robot Factory was insanely difficult on Hard though.

Yeah hopefully Crysis 2 will accept the limitations of consoles. A downgrade is a welcome sacrifice as long as you get more than 3 frames a minute.
