I'm pretty sure this should be in the advice forum, so...
Hey, Escapists! I'm a 17 year old girl in high school/gymnasium, second year, and I'm currently studying art.
When I'm done with high school, I'm planning on going to a university on a little island outside my homecountry(Sweden) called Gotland. The education I'm planning on is Gamedesign and graphics, and I'm(if I dare be so bold) rather confident I'll be able to get in, if not I'll study the courses that I need to get there because all I hear is praise for that school and it's also the only education in gamedesign that's focusing on art and not programming in Sweden, from what I know.
I do have one primary concern however; I don't want to live all by myself, and it might be possible(but rather unlikely) someone of my current buddies will be willing to move there with me, either to study on the university as well or just because they want to get away from their families and get a job. But if not, I have no clue on how to find a roomate.
tl;dr: Any tips for how to find a roomate in case I can't convince/drag along one of my currents friends once I'm gonna start university?
P.S The school guarantees a place to live if you get in, which is awesome.
