Mech games are like crack to me, especially ones where you can get out of the mech and have fun also. For example i'm checking pretty much on a daily basis for a release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X (And yes, the idea of multiplayer in it worries me a lot...if the singleplayer experience is in any way reduced by a focus on multiplayer i will be Very pissed). So i particularly hate Titanfall because i would have LOVED it in singleplayer
You're not alone in loving 'mech games. I love them probably as much as you do. I grew up on games like MechWarrior, et al. I guess I just don't see hating Titanfall for lacking solo options. Disliking? Sure, absolutely.[footnote]Yeah, I'm one of those bastards that argues semantics. Apologies.[/footnote]

Though I won't say it makes the game worth a purchase for someone like yourself, it is possible to play Titanfall solo. One can play the Frontier Defense mode by themselves, for example.

Granted, the mode is damn near impossible to beat by oneself, but it is playable.

Still, here's hoping Titanfall 2 has some kind of dedicated solo options, so people like you and I can enjoy it in the ways we'd prefer. And, for the PC playerbase's sake, here's hoping that it's not Origin only...

Oh dear god, perhaps they'll need to leave the graphical files uncompressed as well to save CPU usage.

Haha, argue semantics all you like I'm not worried plus its nice to meet another Mech addict! I have good memories of Mechwarrior and i practically kissed the feet of the team that did a fan translation of Front Mission 5...

To be fair its not so much Hatred as Resentment...Now you tell me its possible to play solo i might just pick it up from the bargain bin sometime...but really i like a proper campaign with a story (which is why i'm so excited about X) but the sheer joy of mech combat really does tempt me to try it out.

If Titanfall 2 does end up having some form of singleplayer campaign I'll pretty much reverse every opinion I have about it!
