You have nice gear lori. I too am lvling an enhancement shaman. It's lvl 77 right now, and it's really fun to play =D.
Thanks, Gearek. There's nothing quite like the hybrid classes, eh?

To be fair, I haven't played much of WoW: LK yet at all.

I also would like some of my old WoW friends, guild mates and some acquaintances to start playing again.

Hey, if the subject matter's expanded...

This is probably unrelated, but since this thread is about pretty much everything related to WoW... that reminds me of my old screenshots. I was never big on making them, but I swear I have a whole batch of ones from the first few years of vanilla...
I actually really like screenshots (in any MMO, I've got a few metric asstons from City of Heroes). I treat them like I treat photography in real life: find something cool/interesting/funny, take a whole bunch of pictures, and hope some come out all right.

Most of it winds up as junk, but I like to think I get <url=http://img39.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=wowscrnshot111907221156.jpg>some nice ones, occasionally.

I wonder if there's been a thread like that...probably.

Eh, it was fun for me but I reached level 30 and said "Well, I've seen everything now."

In fact, you can just play each class to level 30 and watch all the bossfights and extra expansion content on youtube.

Well erm, ok. You haven't seen everything at level 30 but erm, ahem.

Going by that logic couldn't you just watch every cutscene and bossfight of EVERY game on youtube? :/

If you wanted, but contradicting myself, it's not as fun as doing it yourself.

I used to play it pretty well, blitzing through Pre-TBC content on my shaman, ended up having 5/8 10 storms amongst other things. Then the fabled GCSE's began and I had to drop it for work and exams. Never REALLY got back into it. Tried TBC raiding, found that I didn't enjoy it at all, and then I had to take another break for more exams.

I resubbed a while ago, getting a death knight up to 76, but in the end I just wasn't having fun. So I stopped.

Waiting for exams to be over so I can try AoC.

You know, I did that same thing, but with leather armor on my Tauren warrior.

Having a Tauren wear metal just feels... wrong. It's like making a snake swim.[/quote]

Actually almost all snakes are good swimmers. Especially the bigger ones.

...This is pretty much why I stopped playing WoW.

I can't imagine anything less stimulating than talking about "gearz."

No offense.

Also, Welcome to The Escapist, but most people here dislike WoW, for whatever reason.
I concur, truly there's nothing more sad then a bunch of nerds discussing how their day was in the beautifull world....Of Warcraft.
The worst part being that I actually did that myself....but not to such a serious extent! I swear! *cough*

Humm...I've rarely been in a position to have most of the top Tier gear, neither with PvP or PvE. I mean, I was doing okay pre-Wrath and had done most of the endgame stuff and was in a good arena team, but, I kind of slowed down afterword.

Besides, I mostly collect gear that looks good on my characters, must have spent a King's ransom in gold of various whites, greens, and blues just because of how the gear looked rather than it actually being useful in game, but then I use that stuff solely for RP so it really doesn't matter.

My favourite outfit so far was an entire Winter clothing suit (Santa Suit) and a pair of flaming pauldrons from the Fire Festival, I'd go around handing out bags to lowbies who'd engage in a little RP for them.

Well I am a big Wow head and we talk about it a lot at my office. I am actually a raid leader myself on a fairly decently progressed horde guild(number 2 horde side on our server). WoW is honestly my favorite game thusfar and the monthly fee doesn't disturb me much and I am hardly a rich man lol.

Wow has even reached me at work as I work for a marketing company that is doing the new Game Fuel campaign, Horde Red Alliance Blue. As a person who has played the game for about 4 years with his wife, I think it's pretty cool that Mountain Dew is reaching out to the WoW community with products such as this.

For those that are interested and want to find out more, here's a link http://bit.ly/u1DBp . You can click that and receive 25 free tokens towards the chance to get some cool swag.

It's fun imo to raid end game and do arena, though as with everything not everyone enjoys what I do. For me the achievement system has revitalized the game, as my ele shaman has about 7k achievement points and more incoming the more hard modes we do.

Thanks for replying. It's nice, as long as you get your lightning bolts down to 1.6 seconds with haste and keep to your rotation, with gear you can get upwards of 5k dps.

That's why I can't play the game...I mean what the hell? Is there some kind of translator for this stuff?
