Holy crap, this is the video game equivalent of a super group!

It doesn't look much like a horror, but it makes up for it in pure awesomeness.

Not generally interested in horror, but with this kind of pedigree the genre hardly matters.

Psychological what now? Aaaaauuuummm, no. Idonthinkso. I'm glad that Akira Yamaoka has the chance to alternate between his classic spooky and the rock/pop thing he's more partial to but is virtually unknown for. I'm glad that Suda 51 is experimenting with horror. That said, I personally would rather not play it. It reminds me too much of the scary/action/funny combo of Devil May Cry, and I hate that game and all like it.

Besides, I'm highly suspicious of anything that has this many genius people behind it. It HAS to fail; it's the gaming equivalent of the Titanic.

The storyline reminds me of Dante's Inferno (the game or poem). But I think it looks cool. I like the tone of the whole thing. And the song really sold it for me. If they keep that over the top, rock music influence I'll be really happy. It doesn't really look like a horror game though.

Well I'm a HUGE sucker for gothic trappings like those buildings, the sound track is very promising as well. Not quite sold on the whole "psychological" bits as some other people have said but I do have high hopes for it.

It has Suda 51 behind it, therefore, I must buy it! (and Mikami, and Yamaoka. GAHHHH! It's too awesome!)

It doesn't look as interesting as Atlus' Catherine, but with such a pedigree behind it I'm sure it will turn out to at least be good, if not great. Looking forward to it.
Ehh, i actually think this is a lot more interesting than Catherine, but really its all just tastes.
Catherine is an Action Adventure and this is basically a 3rd Person Shooter.
Cant really compare the two.
But i totally agree, with its pedigree its bound to be, at the very least, a fun experience.

OT:Not sure if i buy the Psychological aspect though, guess we will haft to see how Psychological it gets.
That said i LOVE the artistic style and will defiantly haft to keep an eye on this one.

Nice. Looks like it might rekindle the horror genre, finally. And even if it doesn't, it should be one hell of a ride. lol.

After watching the trailer and reading the minds behind it I have to say...I have absolutely no interest in this at all. It looks terrible and definitely not what I want my horror games to look or sound like.

It looks good. Of course, I do call Devil May Cry caveat, that really awesome cutscenes are nice but a huge disappointment if you become bland during actual gameplay.

And I bet it won't be half as scary as Amnesia...
Hey, you. Yeah, you. You own Half-Life 2? Check out the mod Korsakovia. You'll love it. I think. I know I did. It shares certain themes and aspects with Amnesia. Not to mention that it's fucking unbelievably scary and mind-fucky. Moreso than Amnesia, I daresay.

AAANNNDDD OT: Doesn't look like horror to me. Looks awesome though. No horror.
Yeah I tried it out awhile back. Pretty good, although I daresay it isn't quite as a good as Amnesia, but it's up there.
Where Amnesia beats the crap out of Korsakovia concerning gameplay, Korsakovia beats the crap out of Amnesia concerning story and atmosphere. Amnesia causes a shit load of good old fear, Korsakovia causes only a really unease feeling, but really disturbs the player to the point it may get mentally scarring.

So what has to be done? Korsakovia has to be ported to the Amnesia engine. Korsakovia's story, Amnesia's engine. Man, that way of cautiously opening doors would add so much.

I loved Resident Evil 4, I loved the Silent Hill Series, especially it's music, and I loved No More Heroes! In fact, SH2 and RE4 are among some of the best games of all time in my book.

Not to mention, the soundtrack sounds almost Metallic, and the visuals are dark and creepy, with what seems to be some pretty cool combat. This game seems like it's freakin' Tailor-made for me. I mean, I even have the soundtracks for a few of the SH games. XD

WHEN CAN I PRE-ORDER?

The only way it could possibly make me more hyped is if it was a PS3 exclusive, and the graphics were designed by the guy responsible for MGS4's beauty.

(By the way, I love my 360, way over my PS3, but PS3 exclusives just have the edge on graphics. ;P)

Hmm. No More Heroes, Silent Hill, and RE4?

Would that make it... No More Silent Evil?

Sounds good to me.

Do want!

That soundtrack was awesome... any game that let's me listen to heavy industrial metal while slaying demons is good in my book!
