I won't. It was just my odd way of expressing my interest in the game.TheKasp said:Don't skip the video. It seems that it shows some of the scripted gameplay.Voxgizer said:Thanks for the heads up, now I can skip the video and just buy the game.![]()
And I really think that scripted sequences in a sandboxy kind of game could help. Arkham Asylum was at the end of the day a Batman game with a few sandbox aspects. It created the illusion of the area being alive and big and vast while having a tight and focused narrative. The new Tomb Raider gives me the same 'vibe'. The story part is rather linear with branching options of confrontation but and the freedom of going back, revisiting stuff as well as optional exploration. I'm awaiting the responses of my favorite critics / reviewers / youtubers about this game but my hopes are high that this becomes the first Tomb Raider game of which I don't grow bored in under ten minutes.
I'm right there with you on the hopes of the game. I remember trying to play the first three on the PS1 and getting frustrated with the controls. I don't recall if there was a look inversion or not, and if there was I didn't find it. I could've also just been very bad at the game.
