Socialism isn't necessarily about the total abolishment of markets or currency. The hypocrisy you're implying doesn't exist as long as the devs are worker controlled co-op, which they do in fact appear to be.

Not from my perspective. I want to completely dismantle capitalism, *and* currency. And the american system of government. We can then replace it with a proper anarcho communist state.

Socialism =/= Co-ops, also you are right in a sense, in that Lenin and Trotsky wanted to export the revolution because it was necessary to actually achieve it within the most developed countries, and because at least within their theory, there is no thing as socialism in isolation. Fox's point was more about appropiation of visuals for the sake of profit, which is something that does happen. However, the extent to which this would hurt a radical left cause is totally negligible, because it is more than an aesthetic. I think you misunderstood his point completely.

I don't get why people asked to be banned. You know, you can just not visit the site and post anymore if you don't want to. It's like I have a friend that disables his Facebook account like once a year. You can just not go to Facebook and disable notifications from the app (or just uninstall it).
