Has there ever been a game segment that you were having so much fun playing that you didn't mind that you were constantly dieing, or intentionally died just so that could keep playing it?

I do this often in the section of Mirror's Edge were you fight your way down the staircases after you...
shoot the armored car that your sister is in.

the second level of x-wing, you're flying a a-wing and you're just supposed to fly in, watch some ships arrive then bug out, victory. But if you stay, you get to fight wave after wave of enemy fighters. Much more fun then just winning.

I remember back when Pokemon yellow was new and amazing, I always hated beating it because that meant I had to either do nothing, or wipe the memory and start over.

Whenever I play through Half Life 2 (which is more often than I bother beating most games) I always work through each set-piece two or three times, particularly where it involves chucking grenades into houses and watching the occupants coming flying out through the windows in a blaze of spinning death.

There was a level in an old wario gameboy game where you played basket ball with a boss - (actually WITH the boss- you would jump on him and he'd turn into all ball and you would slam dunk that dude)

Also Painkiller - Love watching those demon bad guys blow up when you blast em

I don't know if anybody remembers this, but the original Just Cause character wore stupid tap shoes that made loud noises all of the time.

That didn't stop me, however, from putting god-only-knows how many hours into that game.

Also, the part at the end of CoD4 when you're rushing to stop the nuclear missiles from exploding. The whole sequence from when you see the nukes launching onward.

Once I was in a game of King of the Hill on Gears of War 2 and our team had won the first game and was winning our second game. We had 119/120 seconds on it so we just left the capture point and screwed around for ten minutes because the game was too short.

Yes. Resident Evil 4. I used to die a few times when I first started playing it 3 years ago. Now I can play the entire thing on Pro without dying once as I know where everything is.

All of Portal(that I've played so far my save file got deleted so I have to redo all of it) and Shadow of the Colossus pretty much the whole game.

No one has said Scribblenauts!?!?!

The distractions and fun is endless! I could care less about the puzzles, I wanna have zombies attacking dinosaurs and the Grim Reaper fight the Devil! I mean, you can have so much fun with it after you finish the puzzles it seems stupid to add them on. Sure, they're fun, but you can do so much else. Imagine this, imagine that, there's so much fun to be had.

I really want a Zero Punctuation on it.
