You may, or may not, remember that back on April 1st Adult Swim ran a series of end episodes for shows that were previously on Toonami, well, via Adult Swims twitter, they've let out this notice.

I might actually start watching Cartoon Network again...it'd be a nice change of pace since AS has gone to absolute crap...and I refuse to watch it on the grounds of Tim and Eric getting a fucking movie deal.

I'm filled with about as much joy as apprehension should this actually come to pass. While I remember Toonami as being the inspiration for much of what I am today, I cannot help but wonder at what this New Toonami will be like.

Does anyone remember the gradual decay of Toonami? It was right around the time when they stopped making new episodes of IGPX to make way for more Naruto (yes I still remember the scheduling). It was that turn that changed into a downward spiral.

My question is, will this Toonami live up to the high-times of its predecessor?

Remember, Frankenstein teaches us that there are always unforeseen problems with bringing things back from the dead.
