Is that the legit case?Fijiman said:To be honest, what needs to happen is for the some of the big networks to stop showing the same episodes from the same five damn shows (which are different for each network) all day and run some more of the old shows that were great more than once a week. They also need to stop listening to or being idiots who are afraid of their wallets shrinking down to anything that doesn't require it's own parking space.Scarim Coral said:The kids of this generation should get an awesome programme slot like we did when it was aired.
I do plan on at least checking out the new Toonami, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Nooooo! Adult Swim, you keep your stuff out of there! Show the classics, damn it!Paragon Fury said:They already are trying. Adult Swim is writing and making "original anime series" to put on the new Toonami.
Considering how shit almost all of Adult Swim's "original" programming is, this won't end well.
Big O! is already showing on Saturday night (Sunday morning?)Gottesstrafe said:Big O!
More Big O? Big O has been airing repeatedly for the past two years now, where have you been? I've had to have seen the ending to the series on AS at least five times by now. They play it every Saturday night, twice.Gottesstrafe said:Hopefully we'll be seeing a return of the old school anime from the 90's and early 2000's too. I could use me some Big O!, Blue Submarine, and Outlaw Star reruns. Also Megas XLR, one of the few good things from Jersey that actually chose to stay there.
I think you may have quoted the wrong person.SaneAmongInsane said:Is that the legit case?
...If it is then, I'm honestly shocked... not for the obvious reasons but if he was so gun-ho about doing live action tv why didn't they spring for a larger budget? Seriously every sitcom they made looked incredibly low-rent.
They're not making new shows, they're making an original programming lineup, as in a lineup of new shows as well as the old.Paragon Fury said:They already are trying. Not trying to offend, but isn't MLP technically "kid TV"?Scarim Coral said:While I no longer watch kid TV these days I can only hope that if it is real, the Uk will follow suit. The kids of this generation should get an awesome programme slot like we did when it was aired.
Oh God please no, I don't think I've ever gone from excited to scared this fast before. Do they even have any experience with anime at all?Paragon Fury said:They already are trying. Your shows are bad unless you watch them stoned, so please, don't subject us to a reboot of Toonami with bad shows. That's cruel.

Sorry, I just had to.
That show had one of the sillest but best opening themes ever.
Too bad. I demand you converse with me about this topic, regardless.Fijiman said:I think you may have quoted the wrong person.SaneAmongInsane said:Is that the legit case?

What I meant to say was more reruns at a more convenient time slot for me. Something before midnight, maybe afternoon or early evening. When Toonami was still running, it filled my afternoon time slot before things like King of the Hill and Family Guy started playing.Smeggs said:More Big O? I'd love some reruns like what you described. The only channels I know of that do it with something other than cartoons or reality shows are SyFy and its sister network Chiller, both of which just do a marathon of a show apparently chosen by lobbing something at a dart board the night before. A regularly scheduled re-run block that isn't a marathon would be awesome. I'd really love to see a block on SyFy of things like Star Trek, Andromeda, Xena, and Stargate -- you know, the shows that made that channel awesome in the first place?Gottesstrafe said:What I meant to say was more reruns at a more convenient time slot for me. And wait, are you NOT advocating for more Big O! when the chance arises?
...Yes? Calm down buddy, not sure if you misquoted me but I was never debating the difference between original programming and programming lineupSmeggs said:ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING LINEUP.Furioso said:Oh God please no, I don't think I've ever gone from excited to scared this fast before. NOT ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING.
TWO DIFFERENT THINGS ENTIRELY.
There, can you see it?
Just to clarify, I meant to say kids show on TV as in the TV show the kid cartoon over here in the Uk. Ok yes MLP was on TV but it was on the wrong time for me to watch it. I mean these days any kid shows that I do watch (like Young Justice or Legend of Korra) are on the internet and not on TV.DoctorSun said:Not trying to offend, but isn't MLP technically "kid TV"?Scarim Coral said:While I no longer watch kid TV these days I can only hope that if it is real, the Uk will follow suit.
