The kids of this generation should get an awesome programme slot like we did when it was aired.

To be honest, what needs to happen is for the some of the big networks to stop showing the same episodes from the same five damn shows (which are different for each network) all day and run some more of the old shows that were great more than once a week. They also need to stop listening to or being idiots who are afraid of their wallets shrinking down to anything that doesn't require it's own parking space.

I do plan on at least checking out the new Toonami, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

...If it is then, I'm honestly shocked... not for the obvious reasons but if he was so gun-ho about doing live action tv why didn't they spring for a larger budget? Seriously every sitcom they made looked incredibly low-rent.

I'd love some reruns like what you described. The only channels I know of that do it with something other than cartoons or reality shows are SyFy and its sister network Chiller, both of which just do a marathon of a show apparently chosen by lobbing something at a dart board the night before. A regularly scheduled re-run block that isn't a marathon would be awesome. I'd really love to see a block on SyFy of things like Star Trek, Andromeda, Xena, and Stargate -- you know, the shows that made that channel awesome in the first place?

As for Big O, it really has been played to death on Adult Swim. They don't acquire new shows often, nor do they really dig back into older shows that haven't been constantly on the air in recent years.

Edit: Misread that, I thought you were talking about a Toonami-style block of themed reruns, not specifically re-runs of Big O.

Just to clarify, I meant to say kids show on TV as in the TV show the kid cartoon over here in the Uk. Ok yes MLP was on TV but it was on the wrong time for me to watch it. I mean these days any kid shows that I do watch (like Young Justice or Legend of Korra) are on the internet and not on TV.

That's pretty awesome. I'd be more thrilled if I had cable television, though I've been watching toonami shows for some time now on toonamiaftermath.com, and Korra's been airing on Nick's website so I'm not starved for good television anymore.
