Mine would have to be:
Psychonauts
Final Fantasy IX
Bioshock
GTA: San Andreas
Pokemon Gold
Banjo Kazooie
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Metroid Prime
Resident Evil (Gamecube remake)
Batman: Arkham Asylum

In no particular order and probably not even my real top 10 but this was what came to mind first

Deus Ex - So far, the only game in the serie, RIGHT?!?!?! and it is great. The story is just great and I love the RPG elements are just the way I want them.

TimeSplitters 2 - For me, this is the best FPS I ever played. I have spend so many hours in this game alone and with friends that it makes me go nostalgic just thinking about it. The best part of it is that there is just one focus, fun. And that is something devs today have forgotten, save for The Behemoth.

Total War : Medieval 2 - I prefer roundbased strategy, and this is THE roundbased strategy game. I love this game right trough, managing your empire have never been as fun.

Prince Of Persia : Sands Of Time My first PS2 game, and one of the best. Whenever I get angry at Ubisoft for fucking shti up I think of this game and it's perfect platforming and storytelling and it makes me love them again.

Dragon Age : Origins I love West RPGs and tabletop RPGs and DA:O offers the best of both. What I loved about this game was it's characters, and the excellent story. It made me feel things, and not just anger like it Halo 3 after getting sniped by that 5 star general for the 65481485485 time. It made me laugh, it made me suprised and it made me angry and sad when a certain someone that I may or may not have a crush on gave me a ultimatum. BioWare, I can do nothing but smile.

The Elder Scrolls : Oblivion - I don't know how many +100 hour characters I've made but it was worth every single hour. Because it was that good. I have a real hard-on for fantasy and what can I say? Goblins, magic, swords and beutiful landscape, this game has it all.

Battlefield 2 - When I think online FPS, I think of this game. I have never been a CoD-guy, aka pussys (just kidding guys =D) , I've always loved Battlefield. In to the year of 1943 fighting the japs online or kick russian in Europe, I'm with you DICE!

Portal - Really, everything that needs to be said about this game has alredy been said. Love the humor and the puzzels. Gabe Newell may eat my food any day.

Half Life 2 - "Rise and Shine Dr. Freeman, Rise and shine. In many ways, this might be the most polished game ever. There isn't a single gameplay flaw. Nothing more to say.

Mafia - I've always wanted to be a gangster. Okay not really, but I've always loved Gangster movies, such as GoodFellas if you didn't get that. Perfect story and excellent gameplay with the perfect length, god I love this game.

That oughta be the Top Ten, please don't make me choose between them.

Also, I want to mention Execution by Jesse Venbrux, you get get it free and legal here [http://www.venbrux.com/]. Download it and play it, play it twice.

You will know when you see it.

Hmm let's see...

10: Red Faction: Guerilla. While the destructible environment was fun and the shooting worked it was just lacking somehow. There wasn't enough storyline and the destructibility was ruined by all the buildings being made of paper that disappeared into the ground when destroyed which held it back at the end of my list. Still a very good game that I recommend.

9: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Everything about this game, from characters to Soundtrack to even the scene changes is unmistakably Star wars. The story keeps you guessing and the characters are interesting. However the super physics so hyped in trailers soon loses it's appeal and the game becomes an ordinary God Of War style button masher.

8: Farcry 2: A game with a sandbox this large with an environment this stunning has to feature on my list. A wide variety of weapons suits people who like all out assaults, or sneaky entries at mid-night. However the game soon gets repetitive and the environment infuriating as you drive the same road again to pick up the same mission again. Still a good game that I recommend.

7:God Of War (Ba ha ha ha! No honestly.)

6: Dawn Of War 1+ Expansions: Without a doubt my favorite RTS. The first thing I noticed about this game was how tactical everything is. You have to think about: What to build and in what order, What to upgrade and in what order, how to attack, how to deploy, how to defend and countless other considerations. Throw in the fact there are 4 armies (reinforced by each expansion) and this game will last a long time.

5: Halo 3: A game as hyped as this has probably been heard of by the native tribes of the amazons by now. And while the campaign is a bit of a typical shoot'em'up fest with not many distinguishing characteristics and a guess-from-the-start story the Multiplayer is absolutely revolutionary. With a game that allows you to customize gametypes and maps like this game does there's always new content. You can jump right in to preset deathmatch and objective games with fun variations. Or get some friends online and create your own new gametypes and maps. I can guarantee this game will last you along time.

4: Battlefield: Bad Company 2: For a game primarily based on Multiplayer the Singleplayer Campaign is outstanding. With good dialog, epic moments and the Making-fun-of almost everything in the world you'll get your money's worth. And then you have the multiplayer. With vast amounts of weapons gadgets and specializations(perks) you'll be making decisions before you're even on the battlefield. And the wide maps that can be completely changed by the destructible engine only serve to add to the intense shooter fun.

3: The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion: The game that introduced me to free-world. The game contains a massive beautiful world full of old dungeons, forts and caves to be explored, giant cities with many NPCs that can all be interacted with and a ludicrous amount of quests. Breeze straight through the main quest and you've got maybe a six to eight hour game. Play it like I did however and it will easy last you thirty hours or more for one playthrough. And I guarantee you'll to play it again.

2:Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. So the gameplay was only alright at best and the side missions were complete Grind. But the story was so good in every way that I've played through it 4 times at about 20 hours each. Any game that lasts 80 hours and I'm still not ready to say I won't play it again gets my number 2.

1: Mass Effect 1+2. I am completely in love with Mass Effect. Let's hit up the good parts first.
Graphics: The facial animations, character models and enviornments all look pretty much Photo realistic, which is no easy feat considering most of the characters are space aliens.

Story: The dialog is extremely well written and comes to life with the brilliant animations and exceptional voice acting. The plot keeps you guessing throughout and almost all the characters feel like real human beings (Again no easy feat.) The codex which provides back story and non-essential information about the galaxy is breathtakingly detailed. It took me 3 hours to read about half of it in the 2nd game so just imagine the size of the third's.

Gameplay: Whether you like shooters or Rpgs Mass Effect will deliver. The 1st is more tailored to an Rpg players fancy with complex skill trees and high amounts of customization. The 2nd however is more Shooter based. Skill trees are toned down allowing for quick jump-in-and-go gameplay and the shooting is tighter. However neither eliminates enough to disappoint unless you are a hardcore fan of either Genre.

And now the bad parts: Once the trilogy is over, it's over.

/mini-review.

So that's my favorites. I know I didn't put in ten but is nine not enough? Feel free to comment whether you're agreeing or shouting abuse.
