Eww, WoW. I didn't even think of that.
It seems they're making this list for all time, but I'd say in the last year or two Plants vs Zombies ate up entirely too much of my time.

I'd definitely say pokemon should be on there. When I start one of those games I can't put the thing down for weeks.
Gotta be Peggle, I don't even like that game but as soon as I see it I can't tear myself away for aaaaaaaaaaaages.
Probably Demon's Souls too, but that's more of a "NO, MUSTN'T LOSE ALL MY SOULS OH WAIT A RED EYED KNIGHT NOEOEOOEOEOEOEEEEOEOEOEEO" thing, running back over and over to try and get those souls then thinking "I can probably kill him this ti...RGHHHHHHHH".

Civ II: agree I had to get rid of my copy, but I'll gladly fall off the wagon when Civ 5 releases.
Ironman Mike Stewart's Super Off Road: agree, this was in the arcades and I poured so much money into this thing. Then a mate got on PC and three of us would huddle aboud a single keyboard Nitro Boosting out way to victory.

The machine I slavishly fed all my spare change too when I was in High School though was the brand spanking new Gauntlet. I need food badly.

The list is rather odd in that it picks Diablo 1 when Diablo 2 was a better game. The racing games seem more random than anything.
