Top 5 Favorite Bioware Characters

In no particular order:

Tali'Zorah Nar Rayaa(Mass Effect)- Genuinely an interesting character and I can't wait to see more of her when I play Mass Effect 2.

Alistair(Dragon Age: Origins)- ...Just Alistair no further information needed.

Garrus Vakarian(Mass Effect)- Total badass, again, can't wait to see him more when I get Mass Effect 2.

Shale(Dragon Age: Origins)- For being hilarious.

Shale: I will remember this moment when the birds come.

Alistair: So, Shale... when you were standing there all that time? Did you... sleep?
Shale: I have no need to sleep. My body does not tire or do -- ugh -- other flesh-related functions.
Alistair: But don't you get bored? Wouldn't you want to dream, at least?
Shale: I do not dream. This is what it does when it sleeps? It paws its nose and mumbles incoherently.
Alistair: Yes, of course. I thought we all -- huh... you watch me?
Shale: I watch all closely when they are still at night. There is little else to do.
Alistair: For... hours and hours?
Shale: I count the breaths. it helps to overcome the overwhelming urge to crush their faces while they sleep.
Alistair: Well. I won't be doing much of that anymore.

And Bethany(Dragon Age 2)- I don't know, she's just a nice companion and it's great to have a family member this time around, especially one with a personality like hers.

Zaeed, great stories and one-liners (sleep well, you deluded jackass stands out)
Jack, very well written and acted (her face especially)
Legion, unintentional infiltrators are the best (good god this is an me2 list isn't it?)
Canderous, just Mandalorian badassery (i never spoke to hk that much, he didn't have anytihng interesting to say, but i liked his accent)
Juhani, great character, and her story made me feel really depressed for a week (i need to play more BW games)

Alistair and Garrus are the only ones I really like. Every other Bioware character seem so stuck in their roles. I like most of them though, but Alistair and Garrus seem a bit more well rounded.

Least favourite characters have to be Jacob: The biggest douche in the universe. Jack: A character so badly designed, whoever at Bioware created her should be flogged. And Anders: a walking, talking piece of styrofoam.

Legion - i know its along the same lines... but he was so cool! And he made me think of... a certain computer hacking group.
Tali - she was awesome.
Verric - love his wit.
Hmm and i have to think of another ME member...

I can't remeber anyone from Jade Empire so it mustn't have been that great character wise.

1. Varric, this guy is one of the best bro's i've seen in any bioware game.
2. Garrus, another great personality and of course who doesn't like space batman
3. Legion, the writing for legion was excelent really got a sense that it was trying to mimic organics and had a stalker crush on shepard
4. HK 47, just because
5. Merril, because i've never seen cuteness and creepyness go together so well

Honorable mentions to the Arishok, Canderous, Sarcastic hawke (Imo the best voiced protagonist by bioware so far), Morrigan, Leliana, Tali, many others

worst character: Carver, he's a whiny little ***** (by no means badly written but i dislike him the most)

 

[Cat of Doom]

1.) Darth Malek - SW: KotOR - coolest bad guy ever!

2.) Ashley Williams - Mass effect 1 & 2 - Disliked by many, but I thought she was a very real, well developed and relatabul charactor. She was the only real link between the earth of today and the state of mankind in the ME universe. For example, The convosation you have with her about religion was insightful, dont think there was another christian in the galexy.

3.) Saren Arterius - Mass Effect 1 - A true video game antagonist. He was delusioned and mad, with crule method of dealing with situations, but it is hard to truly call him evil. He honestly belived that working with the repers and sovreign was the only way to survive the extinction cycle. In his eyes sheperd was in the wrong, and could have cost the galexy everythig.

4.) Carth Onasi - SW: KotOR - yeah he was a bit of an angst, but an interesting and well made charactor.

5.) leliana - DA:O - tbh the most intresting charactor from DA:O, due to the fact she had more than one charactor trait. Morrigan too was more of a person, but I like Gingers.

Tbh I found most other companions in DA:O had a single trait which was supposed to carry them, only recently noticed this while playing DA2 and seeing how the companions feel more real

 

[Ladette]

1- Jack- I love Jack. I love her apperance, I love her backstory, I love her character growth, I love her flavor text, I love that her combat dialogue is exactly what I say.

2- Hk-47- He's a psychotic assassin droid who loves murder, violence, and inflicting pain. And ask him what love means, his answer is quite possibly my favorite line in a video game.

3- Sun(Master) Li- He's brilliant, manipulative, and he's just downright ruthless. Not only does he murder you right after getting you to kill his brother, if it weren't for the timely interference of the God of the Underworld herself he's have become a god.

4- Loghain Mac Tir- Of all the characters in Dragon Age Origins he's the one I remember most. He's patriotic to a fault, slightly demented, and if you choose to spare him, a pretty decent guy. It helps that I always compare him to Alister and I hate Alister.

5- Jolee Bindo- Five already? Jolee isn't the typical Jedi. I just love that he's old, he knows he's old, and he acts like he's old. He's also the only Jedi character who doesn't constantly drum on and on about the force. I get sick of hearing about the bloody damn force.

I also really love Ashley Williams, she actually felt like someone I know. I don't know a Garrus or a Kaiden, but I can relate to Ashley.
