Love it even though I have almost no care for cars. The challenges they do are brilliant. Unfortunatly I can't find a channel that carries them here in Canada.

I liked Top Gear. The latest series was pretty shit.

Quite a lot of the stuff on top gear is rather 'meh' (especially when the guests come on and Clarkson verbally masturbates over them), but the road trip type events they do are awesome.

Also when they tried to launch a reliant robin into space, EPIC.

One of the only great British programs left against a tide of cheap soulless reality shows diluting our brand of comedy and common sense.

So much.

It just annoys the piss out of me and I beg people to turn it off when it's on. I just have to leave the room otherwise.
You have gone down in my Estimations...

But then you go back up for being subscribed to my Film Company on youtube

It's good for very casual viewing. I'll watch it on a slow day a couple of times a year.

Once you start viewing often you'll realize how contrived and unnatural the show is and probably be put off by it.

Until I realised what a pompous, self righteous ass Jeremy Clarkson is.
An add for his book stated "Shakespeare? I'd rather stick pencils in my eyes"

Please do.
And try appreciating a master of the language you speak, you jack ass.
Shakespeare has only recently become a "master of language" in his own time he was considered to be something of a lower art form writer for the masses. Clarkson is actually a nice guy but its scripted that hes the over the top one
I appreciate Shakespeare not being recognised in his own time, however Clarkson lives in the present, unless I am much mistaken. He must surely know Shakespeare's influence on modern English, lest he be naive and ignorant, which may be possible?

And as for him being a nice guy, how do you know that?
As you said, his TV persona is completely scripted.

I love Top Gear, but I think it should come to an end before they get too old (so realistically the next season should be the last). Their wonderful people, and its great that the BBC has allowed them to continue when it usually caves into pressure when other programs say something 'over the line'. E.g. Frankie boyle and his comments on two time gold-winning British Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington, afterwoulds he was pressured to quit or get fired. Oh and the how Russel Brand Johnathan Ross thing. It was great that they allowed that to continue, and i feel after it goes the BBC will become more and more frightened of one man and a letter.

This is what Frankie Boyle said by the way: "She has the face of someone who?s looking at themselves in the back of a spoon?. Yeah, in 5 years the BBC won't be allowed to have comedians on it for fear of offending one in 60 million people...

Top Gear is good brainless telly. I don't have a working TV at my house (It has no ariel, so is essentially a gaming/dvd screen) but when I'm staying at my parents at Christmas/Easter the Dave channel, combined with having all my meals/washing done for me turns me into a mushy shadow of my former self.

Top gear, QI, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, repeat until face melts.

I'm not a big fan of the show when it's doing normal reviewing, but I LOVE the news, the specials where they need to buy cars for a certain amount and the ones where they build stuff. Those are hilarious.

I used to like Top Gear, but it's just repeating itself and playing into the audience of annoying 11-year old kids that argue about who the Stig is in the playground. Plus, thanks to Dave, I have every single likeable moment of the show etched into my brain, so I never need watch it again.

Dave killed Top Gear.

Dammit Furb. Don't agree!

I don't get the big deal with them. I like Richard Hammond [sub]a bit[/sub] but it's so booooring
Weird, my last name is Hammond.
Could it be! I have a long lost cousin who is famous!

OT: Anyway, I don't really care what is what As long as it is good, I am going to watch it.

I admit this season hasn't been quite as good, but for the occasional "Jaaag" jem within, I'll watch it forever.

I love it to death. I thought it was gone over, but it had a mini crisis instead. Still brilliant and possibly the best tv show for a UK audience.
