I bought this game the second I found out, about 2 days ago. I randomly decided to open Steam to see what games were for sale or if there were any deals. I had wanted to try Torchlight for a while, never got around to it, then I saw it for $5 and couldn't pass it up, the deal was too good.

And I'm glad I took the opportunity. Torchlight is fun as hell, addictive too. In the two days I've been able to play it, it's been really good.

Me again, I was curious as to whether there is any online mods for Torchlight? Because me and my friend have bought it and it would be cool if we could go through the levels and stuff together.

and for $5 you can't go wrong.
yes 5$ can go very wrong, for example i just bought the old pokemon silver version today for 5dollars only to find out it lacks the ability to save.

EDIT: Now i see you said online MODS.
I DOUBT it a lot. I haven't played with the modding tools so I don't know how much they let you poke, but putting network code in a game is going to have to happen at more or less a base engine level (not the graphics engine, but you know what I mean). You can't really just slap multiplayer on a game, it has to be designed with it in mind if you hope for it to be any good.

That's sort of similar to the Christmas I received Pokemon Gold from my parents, only to find that the box lacks the actual game cartridge. I had to wait 2-3 days for the shops to open so we could go replace it and get the game.

Alright then. I remember reading somewhere earlier about the online and one guy said that there are Multiplayer mods out there and I wanted to confirm it with someone who has it.

$5!! I was clever enough to pre-order it for £15 ($25?)! Damn you Steam and your amazing weekend deals. Meh. The game is hella fun and easily worth £15 anyways, so I don't regret it!

I'd love to get this but I don't actually hook up any money to my Steam account and I'm generally unwilling to do so. However I will consider it since it could be cool, plus I loved Diablo so thats tempting.

It's not a clone, since its made by the devs of Diablo 2.

I bought it when it was $20...And got pissed when they added Steam achievements, and they didn't retroactively unlock on my character. So, I stopped playing.

That said, it doesn't rule out any multiplayer mods, period (e.g. GTA: San Andres had zero multiplayer capabilities, yet has two major multiplayer mods, SA:MP and MTA:SA.)

In the comments for the Zero Punctuation review, I said this:

This is the first time a ZP has ever made me more inclined to check a game out and, fiddly controls aside, it looks like the sort of thing I might enjoy. Shame I had no money during the Steam sale though, it's £14.99 now and I'm not sure I can justify it when I've got to eat and such.

Still, I'll throw it on the list for later.
Seems 'later' has arrived, it's £3.75 now.

You going to get it?
If so, let me know if you like it!

Well I got it off the torchlight website, besides, its one of the few cases where i feel the developers actually deserve full price. It wasn't a huge budget game, its simple, very addicting and the dollar-hours of entertainment ratio is great. So despite this, I still feel it was worth it.

not saying it isn't. I'm just saying that every sale has this sort of message attached to it from someone, so I vow not to be that person.. if I buy a game off steam (where I get all of my PC games) It will be on sale or not at all.. I can wait for what I really want
