Wait, did I misunderstand, or did that trailer (or the previous DLC, I've yet to play them) establish that The Courier's backstory involved working for the Legion?

I think you should listen to that part again. The sentence structure seemed quite clearly to mean any faction would be plausible.

Well, yeah, the "Or whatever flag you wave now" part, but the fact that he specified Legion before that kinda made me think that, since this guy knew you before the game (talk to Johnson Nash in Primm), maybe you had been Legion earlier, before coming to the Mojave.

I'm not sure myself, I have yet to take the plunge into New Vegas, but it certainly seems much grander in scale in comparison to Fallout 3; particularly in the DLC area.

Whenever I see New Vegas for under $20, I want to pounce... but the "Game of the Year" or "Ultimate Edition" or what-have-you is certainly in the foreseeable future.

He actually says, "[Bring] your flag of the bull, the two-headed bear, or whatever flag you're carrying now."
So he covers all the possibilities there, including either The Legion or The NCR.

YES!!! Finally! I can finally see what Ulysses's problem is with me! I beat all of the previous DLC in order of release and I'm in the middle of my second play through. I haven't chosen a side yet, so I hope this affects my choices.

I have been looking forward to this DLC since I first heard mentions of it and Ulysses. I bought every DLC but big Big Mt (which I did buy just for fun first) just because I wanted to be fully prepared for this. I got psyched when Christine and lionel mentioned it in Dead Money, tingled when Joshua dropped a hint, and shivered at Dog/God's ending where this was mentioned. I have quite literally never looked forward to any individual bit of DLC as much as this, and I couldn't even tell you why. It really just grabbed me as soon as I heard about it.

Oh... yeah. It's on come Tuesday. Yeah, I'll bring all my weapons Ulysses, mainly because all the scaled enemies will be ridiculously brick at level 45+.
I am VERY curious to see how this plays out and what the heck's going on with Ulysses.
Well, let's also put it this way: if you're anything like me, at level 45 there very few skills left that aren't maxed out, and you are walking tank with perks that make you pretty much unstoppable.

Shows how stupid I am. I heard "2 headed bear", and I derped and thought "oh, that's the Legion". Yeah...

So, whose taking bets on how fast this DLC causes New Vegas or someone's console/PC to break?

MY guy will be unstoppable after this DLC is completed, I mean, all that power, weapons and etc you get from all of these DLC will let you have enough power to take over the now destroyed America, also why cant we get a DLC which lets us continue after the main story?

I gave up on New Vegas when they decided to release the first dlc like a month before on 360 than ps3... I hold a grudge.

A puppy is brutally murdered everytime someone asks this.

The reason there is no post-Hoover Dam play is because of the massive amounts of changes that happen to the game world. It would take an entire overhaul of the game world, characters and factions to make the game suit whatever combination of endings the Courier got...of which there are thousands.

It still makes me chuckle that they translated the gaming standard space marine super hero world savior into courier, I guess Obsidian really likes their delivery boys.

OT: Got no clue what this DLC is suppose to be from that trailer.
