I can't stand the narrator. If this press release wasn't so full of itself I'd take it more seriously.

'It has a punk rock theme. We didn't plan it that way, it just happened.' No it didn't it was planned, stop wasting our time.

Looks somewhat interesting, even if I want to cave the translators skull in for sounding like an twat, and "unique" seems to have been confused with "shit we've seen before".

Like the idea of a sidekick who's not connected to a bluetooth. And is a skull.

Pretty, um, unique. And the protagonist's main weapon being called "Big Boner" is something that only the Japanese could've put in a game... o_O
I see that you have yet to play bulletstorm.

I hope it was trying to be silly, because it certainly was.
That said, I've had my eye on this for a bit, and I'm certainly intrigued.
I hope it's good.

That looked just like Resident Evil 4 combined with No More Heroes. I wouldn't exactly call that unique...
The whole pitch was a piss-take right down to their scouse translator for Suda 51. With him I wouldn't be surprised if this entire thing was just a fake out and he was making an MMO centred on battling hats that eat your brains.

What the hell did I just watch?
You watched Suda 51. Really that is about all that can be said.

So it's Dante's Evil / Resident Inferno, written and directed by Michael Bay and designed by someone who's dabbled in horror and porn movies?

I think I may rent this, if only for the fact that it's a perfect target for a review. I'd describe it as "So bad it's... still horrendously bad, but makes you laugh". Sort of like watching a Dungeons & Dragons movie.

Really? Do you think so? It sounds like something from Bulletstorm to me...

Oh, yeah, I forgot. And no, I haven't played it yet.

Is he sure "Punk Rock" is the best way to describe that?
I was wondering the same thing. Maybe the demons symbolise the establishment or something. ;P

I think it was trying its very best to be silly. If I am wrong there I will get a little depressed because this was silly.

Actually this is No More Dante's Resident Inferno.

The way he kept saying "edgy" and "punk rock" made me want to give this game a miss, since edgy (probably because of Ben Croshaw) is something I've started associating with a bad thing.
Still, I guess it could be interesting, and if it really comes out in June there aren't any other good games coming out to take my mind of boredom.

I'll say the same thing I said on youtube.
"If Hell's what they're going for, then no better publisher than EA."
It's almost depressing to see Suda with EA.

Day 1 for me. Same with the ps3 version of no more heroes. This just looks fantastic.

Is it just me or is Suda51 just trying too hard now? I mean it looks modestly interesting albeit somewhat generic compared to some of their games, but listening to the word choice and the way everything is being presented it feels like a 15 year old trying to make his art "edgy and unique" by drawing things that look like they belong in Spawn comics and body-horror porn.
