If the trailer is anything to go by it looks like Michael Bay has done it again! It amazes me so much that even with 2 Transformers movies under his belt, he has managed to a third, unoriginal, unintelligent, creatively void movie that has one of the coolest concepts to come out of a toy store!

"Robots that turn into stuff....how do you fuck that up?...TWICE!!"

I really am not looking forward to Transformers 3. I could hardly tell what was a Robot and what was a dancing trash sculpture. Cap is a must see though.

God dammit. As if raping the Transformers twice wasn't enough they now see fit to rape the Dinobots as well? Grimlock angry!!!

Still not a fan of the Cap costume but I will still go see it if it is in 3333DDDDDD

To the people complaining along the lines of "wah wah wah, i wasted my money on these crap movies, blah blah blah" if you don't like them, DON'T GO TO THEM; nobody's forcing you to watch the goddamn movies. And also; to the people who whinge about Michael Bay "raping your childhood" the only person who is raping your childhoods with the movies is you, so give it a rest and let the people who actually DON'T mind the movies enjoy them. I'll concede that the second movie could have been a bit better, but as i mentioned before; give it a rest, and let the rest of us enjoy it.
You mad bro?

But seriously, I don't see anyone making any personal attacks at people who enjoy Michael Bay's iteration of Transformers. Do you? As for people saying the movies are shit - what, now people aren't allowed to voice their opinions? Just because it hurts your sensibilities?

OT: I've been following the development of the Captain America movie for a while. Even though we can't gauge much from the trailer, I can tell you this - the set pieces are amazing! I have high hopes for this.

Also, was that a Horten Ho229 at around 0:20?

Really tired of people slamming on Transformers. Honestly I thought both Transformers were much better than that Avatar movie. I will see it, Cap, and Thor. Can't wait.

Like i said, i could not care less about the transformers universe as a whole (i don't even care about the old movie that everyone seems to think is 'good'), but i enjoyed the movies, and i usually respect people's opinions on most things; hell, i resisted doing something like this for the longest time, but i had to say something because of how old the michael bay hate-fest is, and how tired i am of it.

If you don't like it, then fair's fair; that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. i'm just sick of the boards of not only the escapist, but every board whenever michael bay is mentioned being cluttered with the hate-fest for him and his movies. Enough, please; give it rest for all our sakes.

*sigh* This'll probably be ignored, but in the end i don't care; i had to do this.

Ah Hollywood at it's very finest, a bucket load of spoon deep films with lots of flash.
I would sure like to have your precognitive abilities, seeing as how the purpose of a 30 second TV spot is to hook the audience with the absolute barest of premises, and you can't possibly tell how the actual film will play out in any way, shape, or form.

Try making Citizen Kane or Blade Runner any more meaningful than these trailers with only 30 seconds worth or randomly spliced together footage, then get back to me.
Quite the gift I have, no? :p
Let's just say history tends to repeat itself, but ofcourse only time will tell.

I love how the woman goes in for a titty-grab after he Captain America says he feels "taller".
Ah, so I wasn't the only one who noticed. But as you can see, she retracts her hand shortly, realizing that she cannot grab them discretely enough.

...she will probably have a love-scene with him in the movie...

...they're complaining about the fact that his costume looks cheesy on film, when it looks just as cheesy in the comics. I love Captain America, but people need to realize that there will always be a small level of silliness to comic book characters that you can't shake off regardless how gritty and realistic you make the movie.
Completely agree with this comment. I would go even further and say that the more realistic you make the world around a comic character, the more ridiculous the costume looks in comparison.

OT: After Spider-Man and The Human Torch, Cap was the character I always wanted to see on the big screen and it's almost here. (It's also kind of weird that two of my three favourite Marvel characters will be played by the same guy)

And Thor looks like it could turn out more awesome than all of them...'tis a good time to be a geek.

I'm excited for the action, but again, I'm guessing this movie is going to focus on that damn kid and his annoying girlfriend instead of the 60 FOOT TALL GIANT ROBOTS. And after Transformers 2, I'm ready to skin Michael Bay alive. Better not be any stereotypical robots in there.

LOL @ YouTube comments:

In the retelling of WW2 where we win because the USA makes the perfect Aryan first? Seriously what on earth is with the blonde haired, blue eyed superhuman? That's got to be deliberate
