I don't think this is the kind of film you should "think" about.Rather just watch and enjoy.
I've seen it.The story had as much holes as swiss cheese,and it uses Megan Fox and Linkin Park to drag the main audience(12 year old boys) in.
I enjoyed the shite out of it,2 hours of robots kicking the crap out of eachother,what more could you want?

It was too long. The story was very contrived, thin and didn't hang together well in the slightest. Acting was pretty poor with some insanely cheesy dialogue. Not even the action scenes were good because you couldn't tell what was going on for half of them. Between the gratuitous explosions and frankly daft camera angles you couldn't tell which piece of identical robot was which or who was fighting who.
It was below par but if you just want the nostalgia or to sit in a cinema and watch things explode for 2 and a half hours solid then it might be worth it.

Finally some sense. Megan Fox just isn't that hot. She's par for the course, poor actor, terrible ***** in real life and who gives a shit about some vapid wannabe Angelina Jolie. I say gut Mr. Bay with a fish knife and give the series to someone who actually wants to do Transformers properly. ie. moar robots less wimpy fuckwit humans.PedroSteckecilo said:

Its a good movie, but I would criticize it for being so similar to the first, in that all the big fights happen in the same locations (Big one on a road in both, and big one in a desert on both) which might seem a bit nitpicky but I did feel it was very noticeable... Still a great film, even if a couple of parts were very predictable.
I'm going to the 12:01 showing tomorrow (technically two days from now, but who cares) and can't wait.
I know people who didnt enjoy the new one, simply 'cos they were expecting a 'good' film, if you know what i mean.
It's transformers, i went with no illusions that the plot will probably be bad, the script a little wanting...... but who cares?
For me i see it as anyone who grew up watching transformers at an early age, the films are all about seeing those childhood heros back in action. Making you feel like a little kid again watching optimus prime and bumblebee kick decepticon ass!
Any film that can make a grown man feel like they're 5 again in wonder at huge ass robots is a good film imo, no matter what failings in other areas it has.
Don't expect anything but to look at pretty cgi of cool robots and you'll love the film as i did.

The special effects will be expensive. Things will blow up. Shia Labeouf will be cute and funny and generally too good for the material, and Megan Fox will wear a low-cut top and maybe bend over a couple of times. Really shitty Linkin Nicklestank music will blare throughout. The plot will be stupid as hell and the movie will make a comical amount of money.
