I would really like to see more games adopt a policy of banning exploiters and giving the means to do so in a verifiable fashion. They really ruin the game play for others.
I think its a pretty dumb idea to ban exploiters cause I would rage a lot if I got banned for using a glitch that I didn't know existed and I accidently used.

Sure, exploiters are bad. On the other hand, Treyarch are the ones that failed to catch the glitches, possibly due to not having a beta. So no, they can't call them douchebags when it's their own stupid fault.

And the people cheering on Treyarch, I wonder if you feel as strongly about cheaters who exploit product activation bugs in Windows, Office, Photoshop, etc? Who exploit flaws in DRM so they can copy movies and songs and ebooks?
Not a great analogy. People exploiting in a videogame ruin the experience. People who crack media don't actively ruin peoples fun.
Not on the pirates' side, just saying your argument is flawed.

People wouldn't want to play a sport against someone with super powers, I doubt they would care if said super human robbed a bank 3 towns over.

People who blame Treyarch = Most likely exploiters.

What?

Don't deny it. It's the whole attitude of, "If it wasn't there, I wouldn't use it." I say, good for Treyarch! 'Bout damn time someone took the air outta these arrogant, self-righteous pricks! I'm sick of this "anything to win" mentality that everyone online seems to have adopted! If I see a single person EXPLOITING (i.e. using more than once or as an entire playstyle) a glitch when I play, it's getting saved and sent to Treyarch! Bye-bye glitch (patch) and bye-bye elitist douchebag!

GO TREYARCH!

Here is my worthless opinion: Yes, players who exploit glitches in multiplayer are douchebags. If you are the one responsible for the glitch that is being exploited, however, you don't get to blame the exploiters for your own cock-ups.

Fix the bugs, suspend the exploiters and strip their ill-gotten rewards, and commit your company to continue fixing, suspending, stripping away, and banning for repeat offenders... but don't try to blame the exploiters for the bugs in your game. That kinda makes you a douchebag, too.
It's virtually impossible to catch every glitch before release unless you're working with very simple code. It's outright silly to expect any dev to release a bug-free product off the bat. Be glad they're at least trying to fix the ones people find. And until then, don't freaking USE the glitches to your advantage! Treyarch aren't blaming users for the glitches, they're blaming them for using them. That's reasonable.

They probably had a beta. It's just not possible to catch the majority of glitches with a test base of less then a thousand people. True story.

The pressure for devs to release a perfect bug-free product is misguided and stupid. They aren't God.

Sorry, I meant a public beta. Or at least one of those "pre-order and you get the beta) type things.

And I'm not demanding a bug-free product, but they still did cause them and they should remove them quickly.

If someone writes a hundred page essay and doesn't ask anyone to proof-read it, there will be more mistakes than if they had. The amount of mistakes might not be horrible, but it was well within their power to lower the number of them.
