I'm pretty sure that Blizzard isn't targeting you as a customer with this moveKazNecro said:I feel like Blizzard just kicked me in a very soft spot. This is total fan service that Blizzard didn't need. I've been a huge fan of Glynnis Talkin ever since she did the voice of Julie Winters in The Maxx Animated Series. To have Blizzard kick her to the curb after a decade of contributions, just to have someone more recognizable and famous take her place, stinks! It'll take alot more than a blonde sci-fi tart to get me interested in this game again.
STOP MESSING WITH MY DELUSIONS!!! *LOL*ckeymel said:I'm pretty sure that Blizzard isn't targeting you as a customer with this move
Why don't I kill myself right now?Valiance said:She was awesome in C+C 3, vouched.
Starcraft always had good story and the pre-mission briefings which were entirely made up of dialogue contributed a lot to that. If a voice actor is less good than it can be, it directly affects how much you enjoy the story. There's no doubt that there'll be a few 'Purists' who hate her just because she's not Talken and some which dislike Helfer because, in their (possibly valid) opinion, think she did a worse job than Talken would have.Sparrow Tag said:I don't get it...
Everyone is up in arms because a voice actor changed? Surely everyone should be more interested in the actual gameplay.
Hold up, Mal Reynolds is in ODST? Now I have to buy that game. She can voice act; she plays the Naval Intelligence officer Dare in Halo: ODST and, from the snippets of her performances I've heard, holds up well playing against Nathan ("Mal Reynolds/Richard Castle") Fillion.
Yup, along with Adam ("Jayne") Baldwin and Alan ("Wash") Tudyk. Apparently a lot of Halo got played on the set of Firefly...Amnestic said:Hold up, Mal Reynolds is in ODST? this comment actually explains a lot. replace 'zerg' with 'cylon' and you've got six from battlestar galactica.Pendragon9 said:If she can muster the role of a seductress who stabs people and commands legions of zerg, I think it will work. But who's going to Duran? Will he even be in the game? I hope so. And I hope he's voiced by Samuel Jackson.
Very true!The_Oracle said:Oh my God.
Number Six is voicing Sarah Kerrigan. :O
This is officially the greatest news I've heard this week since that 'Use the Force' EEG toy.
