one, my friends aren't bad they're just douchebags, I'd trust one because he isn't a total douche, he's my only sensible friend when it comes to stuff like this, not that this has happened.

My friends and I used to play this game, with a variation: it was called "who do you get to help you hide the bodies" although there is psychological difference, in that while you are completely vulnerable in that scenario also, you are asking who do you think would be willing make themselves vulnerable as well, for you.

Your scenario is more about giving someone absolute power over you. Interesting. I think there are exactly two people I would trust with that. I'm married to one of 'em.

You know what would be a more interesting observation? See if there is any correlation between demographic and response. I would absolutely love to graph this across age, ethnicity, social class, etc.

There is 1 girl whom I trust with my life, I trust her with everything. No she's not my girlfriend (I wished), but still she would be the only one I would trust with a picture like that.

...Also depends on what constitutes 'humilating'...I wouldn't trust my mother with an embarassing photo...she'd love to show everyone cuz she thinks it's cute. *headdesk*
But if it was something that could get me into trouble...she'd guard it with her life.

So, first scenario...I'd trust one person. My husband.
If it came to truly harmful photos....I think there are probably six people that I completely trust to never throw me under the bus.

What if you don't really trust anyone but at the same time you don't care about things which other people would consider normal to get paranoid about.

For example... well, just misdirecting people to make them think that they've gained your trust which you can utilize to your advantage later and still keep your deepest secrets and fears from them?

I know it's a typically immoral question to ask, particularly as a response to the thread, but it's all I could think of. Or was it? :p

Zero.

Something like that means blackmail, and I don't trust anyone with ammunition designed for me.

Yay for paranoia.

Zero, because even letting it be handled by one person opens up the opportunity for your future humuliation, regardless of whether or not they mean to do it.

It's just a matter of logic rather than a matter of trust, and I'd rather avoid humiliation in any way possible.
