I remember when the TV wasn't like that, that's why I went into anime in the first place because no TV series interested me.

It's not all bad, I mean there's stuff like The Colbert Report and Mythbusters and re-runs of Seinfeld. But yeah, most of it is not very good. But that's one of the more obvious reasons to go online and watch anime.

I remember when TV held my interest longer than 15 minutes. I hate reality shows and teenage angst shows.

I've since become more amused by short, funny videos here on the interweb. The Escapist is sort of like my replacement, supplemented with a few doses of Youtube here and there.

That being said, I do like sitting down and watching the tube sometimes. Just not as often anymore.

Between Netflix, Hulu and YouTube, there's no reason to pay for cable anymore. I can't fathom why anyone would.

Sons of Anarchy season 3 starts September 7th on FX.

I know where I'll be every Tuesday at 10.

That's about the only time I watch tv. Go SAMCRO!

You can find good stuff on Hulu and if you want a good spy show then watch Chuck.

Repeat that for me? Cause if you said what I think you said you just made my day.

I don't watch tv as much as I used to, but I always find time to watch Chuck, it is definitely my favorite show on tv right now. I usually watch ESPN, whenever I watch tv now, since Chuck finished its season a couple months ago.

All I watch now is The Daily Show/Colbert, and HGTV. I fucking love HGTV, especially income property.

man i miss the shows from the 90's, watching rugrats, hey arnold, dexter lab, ppg lol, freakazoid, mighty max, heck even the power ranger when they were the shizzle back then! now we all have just silly shows that spark no interest whatsoever, well excluding the last airbender, that was a good kickass show.

yeah apparently the series is gonna be on comedy central and G4, giving tG4, the game channel, 2 game related shows! the trailer from PAX is all over youtube
Please link that!

OT: I still watch the t.v for every new season of southpark. I could watch it on the site but it just a better feel for settling down in front of the tube.

I gave up TV around the time Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs started airing on Discovery Channel. Those were the only two shows actively worth the time. You think American TV is bad? Try Swedish TV! Not only is it bad, it's also slow paced!

However, I've recently started watching Animaniacs, and despite being a cartoon, it is REALLY good for us young adults.
