Spaced, not sure how easy it would be for you to find it though. It's a brilliant british sitcom, Shaun of the Dead was based on an episode of it
Really funny show. It's only like 7-10 episodes though isn't it? Are there more than those originals?

I'm a big fan of their brand of humor.
Spaced is (or at least it was) available in its entirety on Hulu. I just finished watching it again but I have it on DVD (which, by the way is WAY more expensive than it should be).

The Walking Dead has just come to an end here in Britain.

Comes with my recommendation.

Being Human, the British version.

Comes with my recommendation.

Moonlight, another Fox execution, also very good. one of the first "new generation of "those" kind of vampire shows" and is actually the only one that pulls it off.

Comes with my recommendation.
Hehe Oops. Another great one I forgot to list! I watched the Walking Dead when it premiered in NA. Pretty exciting so far, but it's hard to tell from so few episodes. I want it to be good when it returns as I'm a fan of the comics.

I second Babylon 5 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and add Farscape, The IT Crowd, Red Dwarf, Futurama, Psych, Monk, MST3K, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Doctor Who (all of it), The X-Files, Lost, Heroes (only the first season is good though), aaaaaand... That is about it from me. Those should keep you occupied for a good long time though.

I pretty much like everything you like, so here are mine:
Archer, Arrested Development, The first three seasons of Weeds, Californication, Boardwalk Empire, The Office, Dr. Who (Russell T. Davies years), Torchwood, Bob's Burgers, Six Feet Under, and Parks and Recreation.

Edit: Also: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Shameless, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Oh man! Heroes, what a wild ride that was for the first season or so, but oh how it went to shit fast.

I've been meaning to re/watch Babylon 5. I caught good chunks of it when it was originally on TV. I've been intending to get it and watch it from start to finish to fill in the substantial gaps.

AH Weeds. There's another one I've been meaning to try. Thanks.
I downloaded the pilot for Boardwalk Empire. forgot to watch it. :p

I'm sure Six Feet Under is great (it seems to be - only seen a few eps) but I have yet to get into it. I'll give it another go eventually.

EDIT: Archer is frakkin' hilarious. I can't remember the last show that had me laughing so consistently through the show. That is the only other show I'm watching right now. It's good because I just started so there's quite a backlog and I can chew through a couple episodes at once.

Here's the thing, I've heard lots of good things about it, and it sounds like the sort of thing I'd like to like, but I watched the first couple episodes way back when the show started and Blood on the Sand was just very silly and meh for me. Does it get better?

It's like The Borgias. Tried to like it and was surprisingly bored after the pilot that I just couldn't bring myself to watch the second. I was surprised, because I figured Jeremy Irons in full-on scenery chewing mode, and the gorgeous opening titles sequence had primed me for liking it.
I see what you mean. I would go for Gods of the Arena, that's really what got me hooked. I've moved on to Blood and Sand, and I'll agree the plot isn't the greatest. But you get a bit of an understanding of the characters and their motives from the prequel. So give it a shot, even if you don't like it - there's no harm done! :)

You could check out Burn Notice. I wasnt really a fan and didnt see the big deal, but then I watched it, and while I'm not a big fan, its something I could watch.

If you fancy yourself a nerd, as I do, then I recommend checking out "IT Crowd" it a British comedy consisting of 6 episode seasons, and it's available on Netflix.

I would also recommend "Dead Like Me" to anyone.

True Blood is.. interesting. At least the Vampires don't sparkle, and Anna Paquin nude can't be a bad thing.

I'm currently filling the void with Doctor Who since all the anime and shows I was watching ended their seasons.
