Most of my internet time on my Itouch is devoted to tv tropes. I love the website but I feel strange when I bring up tropes or tvtropes IRL

Give it some time. Someone will link a trope when discussing a story plot, or perhaps in a thread about cats [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CatsAreMean]. And then you'll see anther link on the website. Then another. And another. And another. And then you'll be trapped forever... There's no escaping it...

I don't like that site due to the fact that you have to read 7 different articles to figure out what the article you started reading was about.

I would define it as an dictionary/encyclopedia of the diffrent situations and characterizations seen in various forms of media. And its incredibly addictive, at least it is for me.
