No responses from Nigerian Government, yet?
No, not yet. But give them time, they'll find a way to get offended from this news yet.

Also, love the avatar.
Thanks,
unfortunate we cannot have signiture here
mine would be:
"Don´t worry - it´s only red pixels on your hands"
Guess I like to lay carnage upon 'stuff'.

Sounds good. I don't use twitter, but I can see why people wouldn't want to be impersonated.

Fake Britneys and Dubyas beware, Twitter are iscoming for you.
That's my grammar twitch right there. Drives me batty.
Maybe he meant "Twitter" as in "the group of people who run Twitter"...?
Still, it should be "is" not "are".

It's still a collective noun, much like "army" and "band" are collective nouns. You say "The army is training," or "The band is marching," not "The army/band are ____." The same applies to companies.

So I should say the "the people is coming for you"? And not "the people are coming for you".

I thought it was the other way around...

Although, I understand that "the band are" is wrong, I still think that "the people are" is right...? But alas, I'm not from an English-speaking country...

Edit: Oops... Forgot to quote.

Oh No! Pretending to be something you're not is the lifesblood of the Internet Culture. Right up there with putting your darkest secrets on display so you can be genuinely surprised when it haunts you.

And its win.

My problem is the buthurt crybaby BS.
Here is a thought. Suck it up that 20,000 people think poorly of you. Or take it to court and let everyone know your a sad little person.

I wish they would stop waisting internets on this crap.

"People" is the plural of "person." So "The people are ___" is correct.
