Well, I'm glad, actually.
Never have been a fan of the American sitcom, and in my opinion, Two and a Half Men was probably the worst of the lot.

Good riddance they've dragged this thin premise out long enough. The show itself wasn't bad but was't that good either, it relied on cheap laughs and simple sex puns. There was virtually no hint of any character development ever, and even when they did try a development some of the characters it was short lived and reversed in a couple of episodes time anyway.

They did have Eddie Van Halen on once, for a few seconds.:)

Yeah, I liked it the first time I saw it, but this show got old really, really fast. So did Scrubs, though not to the same extent. I prefer Brit comedy anyway. At least on Only Fools and Horses, when they used the 'laughter in a can' its because something happened that was actually funny.

Hmm, that's not a surprising way to see it go. Personally, I'm happy to see it finally get canceled, though that just means another decade of reruns from now on. ;p

why does no one notice this says till the end of the season??? the show has been renewed through the 2012 season. its not cancelled forever. charlie sheen is having problems, thus they shut down production for this season so he can (hopefully) get over it

Glad to see it go. The series is and always has been utter rubbish that abuses the hell out of its laugh track. Of course nothing is stopping stations from playing reruns, which makes me sad again.

though youll be surprised how many shows actually use a live audience yet people still think its canned laughter and vice versa

Meh, I never found it funny and most of the main characters were 1-dimensional and annoying...especially that kid.

It always pained me to see Duckie wasting his life on that show.

Blast from the past time.

I hope Cryer gets some more work.

Good thing he got fired, his attitude wasnt acceptable. Too bad an entire cast and crew have to suffer just because the lead actor is an asshole.

I'm in the minority, because I actually like the show.

I like how the kid got progressively dumber as time went on because the character didn't change at all. They were writing the same sort of jokes for him at 17 that they did at 9.

I think that's the only real fault of the show, it contained zero character growth over an exhausting number of seasons. Hell, THE SIMPSONS have grown their characters more. Of course, took a lot longer but it's a fucking cartoon.

I still laugh at the show *shrugs*

I liked the show. And since it was always on, there was always something to have on when I'm bored.

You know what, and I'm on Sheens side. Chuck Lorre will either return the show, or fail. None of his other shows are doing as well, and Mike and Molly is loosing it's appeal very very fast

It was the writer who refused to write, no the actor who refused to act. People need to learn to keep work professional, and while Sheen is a dick, I think it was Chuck Lorre who tried to take a moral high ground when it wasn't necessary. It's one of the reasons Sheen is bitching about Chuck Lorre in the press, that he's punishing an entire crew because he doesn't approve of Sheens personal life.
