I knew those bankers were up to something!

Made me laugh so, guess it's all good.

That is awesome, kudos to both firms, and particularly the upper echelons who traditionally always try to stop this kinda fun. If I was french I'd totally bank with BNP.

It's only a matter of time until they start swinging through each others windows on ropes like the Crimson Permanent Assurance.

A free internet if you get the reference.

Even though this is awesome, the employees of those companies should rather use their time at work to WORK.
When they did this all during their breaks, then it's okay though.
A happy worker is a good worker. No point in destroying all the fun during work times, as long as it doesn't get out of hand. If it helps them not to burn out after 20 years working there, let them have their 10 minutes of fun per day.

I can see bankers being bored enough to do this, but what exactly was causing the Ubi imps to be that bored?

That is... significantly more heartwarming than it has any right to be.

EDIT:

Why, hello there Kaptain Killjoy.

Do you perchance work in middle management?

Go French bank! I wonder what form of warfare they will adapt to.

Any more news? Casualty count? Humanitarian crisis report? Risk of a nuclear strike? NEED MORE NEWS

Best. War. Ever.

*begins plans to start a similar war on London's Carary Wharf*

Just think of what you could create on this!

The last thing we need is a Post-It Note Dalek/Cyberman war.

Morale is important, so is discipline.
By all means, I don't want to deny a worker a good time at the place of their employment.
That is after all one of the most important aspects of work, the inner satisfaction from it.
But who knows if the 10 minutes may become gradually more?
As I said, it is awesome, but not entirely positive in it's implications.

I admit, it may have sounded a little harsh.
Though I want to encourage people to think from another perspective and consider potential downsides and risks.
I mean, I get a quite heartwarming feeling from it as well, but I can't help to see the other side too.

And no, I do not work in middle management (but I get where you are coming from :D )

Being a British citizen, I shall refrain from comment as it's almost certainly going to be a French Military joke.

I'll just wait for them to go into Robotron and dazzle the entirety of France.
Just make it a Monty Python French Military joke, like so.
*ahem*
"I wonder if one will put up Post-It art of a hamster and the other will reply with an image of an elderberry."

OT: I wish I could do that at my work with the opposing gas station across the street. Sadly, upper management would frown upon it.

That is actually amazing. They are pretty good too, I'm surprised no one at the bank got pissed off with it.

This reminds me of earlier this year when at school on my friend's birthday I covered his locker from head to foot in post-it notes.

He liked it, but the janitor was most displeased with me.
