First thing that came to mind:

"War...... War never changes...."

But all is fair in love and post-it notes right?

I'd honestly love to see this end with Ubisoft just suing the hell out of that bank for using one of their characters and recreating them as unlawful use of copyrighted material.

just so the whole thing could have the air of going to far.

Morale is important, so is discipline.
By all means, I don't want to deny a worker a good time at the place of their employment.
That is after all one of the most important aspects of work, the inner satisfaction from it.
But who knows if the 10 minutes may become gradually more?
As I said, it is awesome, but not entirely positive in it's implications.
I think you have to consider the simple fact that these people (at Ubisoft) work in an industry where they are, on average, paid a far lower wage than they'd earn applying their skills elsewhere and are often required to work at dramatically increased levels for weeks or months on end. Sure, the guys at the bank might not have an excuse but I'm willing to cut Ubisoft some slack here. This sort of thing is fairly common in the game industry it seems and it's certainly better to let people waste a few hours a week goofing off than having them burn out before the end of a project.
