The one thing that people forget - and in a seriously big way, this country is over 120 Billion in debt, how on earth do people think we are going to come out of it. We were paying more in interest than what our GDP was bringing in. THAT is why I voted libdem/con - Labour royally blew it, and whats worse, when they realised they wouldn't be getting a fourth (?) term in government they blew even more for shits and giggles........

Holy hell at the bolded part. Where I am a pint of pretty much anything is £1.90 with local ales at £1.50 in some places.... Never though i'd be glad ofr Cardiff's pubs lol
London prices are nutty. The 3 quid pint is the norm, unless you go to a Sam Smiths. 4 pints are getting more common; used to be it was only Leffe that could command that price tag, but these days almost anything goes.

Wait what!? you blame all of us for the oil spill what an ignorant sniviling person you are.
If you want to play that game was it not americans that caused the glaobal recesion...
We don't blame you for that but if you blame us for the oil spill then maybe we should.
Um...BP. British Petroleum...Oil spill was their fault...Not G[sub]ordon[/sub] B[sub]rown[/sub]..

OT: Osbourne is doing the right thing. He's basically doing everything he can to stop the UK becoming Greece. If you didn't already know, Labour left a note explaining that we have no money left - I'm sure everyone can cope with cuts and increases for a while.
ok I get it I don't know how many people told me that I thought he ment Great Britain ok I!

Not just london, mate. I live in a town of 50-60 thousand. A pint of carlsberg(not export) here cost 3 quid, and a pint of stella is 3.20. I did hear about the horror stories about the prices in london, though.

Games industry here, not great. All we got going for us really is Rocksteady and Crytek UK.
Rockstar North, Lionhead, Media Molecule.

There is also some smaller companys too, but aren't as big as those.

We have more well known companys than most countries, really. Although, US and Japan do still lead.
Fair enough. Forgot about those. Lionhead studios, I dislike however.
