How about a female protagonist who has survived breast cancer, therefore is sans breasts?

What about Mirror's Edge? Strong female character, no real attention to her breasts...
I never played the game, but that is just because the lead character wasn't sexually appealing to me.

I'm pretty sure that, had Mirror's head been from a 3rd person P.O.V. the game would've been more focused on her breasts. 1st person takes that attention away.

I'm a girl and I know for a fact that for a video game character to be popular, she'd better have melons.

If you ask me who the ultimate "videogame babe" is, I'm gonna say Lara Croft. That's because you can't put those two words together and get someone who isn't sexualized. Hell, "babe" alone does that.

As far as female characters I find respectable/admirable, I'm going to nominate Maya from Septerra Core.

Regarding the proportions of female characters, I made a female Nord in Oblivion and was somewhat impressed by the model design. Though the character was unsurprisingly well-endowed, she also had a developed musculature. Especially jarring was the abnormally prominent biceps. Even so, the character didn't strike me as being unattractive, which sadly isn't something I see accomplished often.

Well a good example of all of that would be Mona Sax. Money being the flaw.

She is a good example having a little sex. Thinking at first she is just a hot toffee then pulls out a gun proving she's a dame. Now a dame is what I personally expect, personality and body are top of the line with a weapon to kill with. Though she is not as daunting as the villain. Nicole Horne proves that the best villains are a *****.

It is just part of the art style. Each stance has its own deal. That one I believe is pissed off and about to hurt someone or just see was pulling a gun out and did it to show an added weight of the gun.

You can say that about your real senses, too. You don't really "see" boobs. Just a pattern of lines and dots and colours that you have decided are boobs.
Decide that computerized boobs are also ones and they will be for you.
